Agreed, a good cast. Love the merge of old and new cast :wub: I really do think Lawrence stepped up with the character in this film!

 

Yes she did, and I loved the old and the new, it was sort of sad seeing the old (future) cast passing on the baton to the younger (past) cast. If that makes sense! :lol:

Arghh! This film was amazing!! Loving the fact that Jean Gray was back here too. She is/was by far my favourite xmen character ever!!

I just watched this movie at the cinema today! I really enjoyed it! I'm a big fan of X-Men! I used to watch the animated series when I was kid. I have watched all the movies and I think that “Days of Future Past” is the best so far!! Basically, you have to contradict what you already have watched at cinema. The story has just begun!

Bryan Singer did a great job!! His comeback deserves every penny of his huge salary!!It seems that he adores X-Men based on his work. The visual effects are impressive and he gave the same emphasis to the technician part of the film and the philosophy of super-heroes. The screenplay is very interesting and well-written. It shows the human side of “X-men” which I loved. It has also many funny quotes!! The film and sound editing are great and the cinematography is exceptional!! All the actors/actresses are good but I think that Jennifer Lawrence is great as Raven/Mystique. I thought that Rebeca Romijn-Stamos was the only suitable for this role but when the new part finished, I realised that Lawrence owned this role!! The soundtrack of film is also very good. John Ottman is a remarkable composer!

“Future of Days Pas” has already overcome the rest of X-Men series and it will be one of the most successful movies this year!!! It has gathered a very high average score in Imdb (8.5) too. I would give it a 9.5 because it was great overall. If the next movie is better than this part, then we will talk about one of the best movies in cinema history!!

There are clips on youtube, looks pretty fab tbh. The whole future part of the movie will make sense now.

I kind of wish it made sense but still featured ONE scene of a silent Rogue. She really is utterly awful, both as a character and the entity that is Anna Paquin.

There's a few extra scenes in it after her rescue from the mansion and it kinda explains why

so many sentinels attack them in China

 

The movie Rogue is a bit of a letdown especially considering the potential she could have from the comics.

 

Although I think there is gonna be

another Iceman death in this new version, poor guy dies 3 times

 

I much preferred this version. They basically edited her out of the entire climax of the movie. RUDE.

They edited her out of the entire movie :lol: which was so odd since she was such a big part of the first 3 movies.
