I think it would more than likely work seeing as they're a band who have a lot of discussion around them and I think they have a fair few fans on the forums too. :)

It was quite interesting. Apparently it was supposed to be a 7,000 capacity show but it had been a torrential downpour all day and it was on the verge of being cancelled.

Only 2,000 people turned up. The heavy rain stopped and they did the show.

 

The camera crew did very creative filming so nobody noticed the place was almost empty. And it was that 'film' which really broke them in America. :o

I guess you left now but here's the answer anyways:

 

With the first two polls (non of them started by me) we struggled a lot and got very near the 75 votes. It was a shame cause it used to be only 50 "yes" votes to get a forum, and we always had between 65 and 70.

 

When the second poll was closed, I decided to start myself a "3rd call" cause I couldn't bear not having a Killers forum :lol: We were very successful the first week, but then the votes slowed down a bit. I advertised the request poll in my signature and a couple of people joined in the advertising campaign to get the forum, including Michael (Y!kes) and Azro. We three convinced the people we know on Buzzjack to go and vote "yes", and we ended having around 80 "yes" votes which was pretty impressive.

Amazon were selling it for £14.99 last week but it's up to about £19 this week. But deffo don't pay the £30 RRP. <_<
