March 14, 201411 yr after only really just hearing this properly properly last week, i am in LOVE with this. this and their new single are amazing. I hope you bought Braveheart on iTunes and welcome to the #NEONS fanbase :w00t:
April 23, 201411 yr Sorry to bump this up but I've just heard this for the first time on commercial radio and I'm more annoyed than I should be. The edit they play completely misses the point of the song by only featuring the singing bits as they're too afraid to play the song in full. 'Show me when the beat drops' ... oh wait we edited the drop out. I also don't understand why commercial radio in general tries its best to avoid playing rap, especially when it only features in a small part of the song such as this. Maybe that's why Capital snubbed Welcome to the Jungle as it features two rap parts :o
April 23, 201411 yr Author I've only ever heard the rap edited out when I've heard it on the radio, which to be fair I can understand as it is laughably terrible. Editing out the drop is unforgivable though, that makes this song!
April 23, 201411 yr Oh yeh I agree, only editing out the rap in this particular case would provoke no response from me, it just reminded me on a related note that I've often heard them cut out raps for most songa. I was just mainly shocked and annoyed to hear it go 'show me when the beat drops' only for it to go straight into the next verse! Edited April 23, 201411 yr by Rabb‽t Heart
April 23, 201411 yr I've heard both versions on radio. I think what they do is try to shorten the song to its basic elements after a few weeks so that their listeners stay interested when they hear the song. Edited April 23, 201411 yr by G R ‽ F F
April 23, 201411 yr I loved their sort-of rapping in this. :( This song is such a TUNE. I think they won't top this one ever.
