Posted August 29, 200620 yr Marc Almond is to release 'All The A's' a CD & DVD compilation bringing of all of Marc's A sides and videos together for the first time. This CD and DVD set is nearly completed and is expected to be released in November. On the other hand his new official album of covers that is currently entitled Me, My Life And I (but it may be renamed Stardom Road after the centre piece track) is to be released in January and features such people as Saint Etienne's Sarah Cracknell (on a cover of an old Dusty Springfield track) with covers of (Bowie's) The London Boys and I Close My Eyes And Count To Ten.
September 6, 200620 yr he's a genius...and he's released some of the best pop singles of the 80s and 90s. So this collection's a 'must-have' for sure. Great author, too.
September 7, 200620 yr his autobiography 'Tainted Life' is brilliant - my fave autobiography. Harrowing, hilarious and humble.... it's a book that truly details the pitflals of stardom... a must-read, I'd say. http://cgi.ebay.com/MARC-ALMOND-TAINTED-LI...1QQcmdZViewItem And his 'In Search of the Pleasure Palace' is a travel guide... with a difference. Detailing his tours round the seediest joints in the world.... from sex shops in Spain to saunas in Russia.... enthralling, and all with his trademark wit and wisdom. http://cgi.ebay.com/In-search-of-the-pleas...1QQcmdZViewItem
