March 8, 201411 yr Author I've also changed all the ugly strike throughs to just red text so it's easier to read. Don't know why I didn't think of that before.
March 9, 201411 yr I've also changed all the ugly strike throughs to just red text so it's easier to read. Don't know why I didn't think of that before. The red make it look that was the artist nominated.
March 9, 201411 yr Author I kind of see what you mean. I've added an explanation of that in the first post. Does anyone have any better ideas then?
March 9, 201411 yr I kind of see what you mean. I've added an explanation of that in the first post. Does anyone have any better ideas then? Have you tried grey?
March 9, 201411 yr I think having the Sound Of artists in bold and the irrelevant ones in plain black (or beige!) could work well. Or if that's too much bold, maybe put the irrelevant peeps in italics and the important ones normal. Grey could work well too though. Decisions .

I like the italics idea :funky: Going with that.
March 9, 201411 yr .. maybe put the irrelevant peeps in italics and the important ones normal. I think the nominated artists in italics. Why don't you try some grey and see what it looks like
March 9, 201411 yr ^ Yeah that crossed my mind but I think it'd be overly italic-y. This is a fun conversation by the way :).
March 10, 201411 yr It's funny that in 2009 Mumford and Sons were longlisted but didn't even make the top 5 and now they're arguably the biggest recently-established band in the world.
March 10, 201411 yr It's funny that in 2009 Mumford and Sons were longlisted but didn't even make the top 5 and now they're arguably the biggest recently-established band in the world. Arguably bigger than One Direction?
March 10, 201411 yr Author Arguably bigger than One Direction? One Direction arguably aren't a 'band' :P But regardless, I would say Mumford & Sons are more or less on the same level as them if not bigger, yes. Though they're on an indefinite hiatus at the moment so it will remain to be seen if their success will continue if/when they release a third album. (Though 1D seem to be showing their first signs of a decline with the underperformance of their new single anyway).

October 11, 201410 yr Jamie N Commons took his time to finally get a hit single but has ended up as the fourth highest charting act from Sound of 2012 (ahead of the likes of Skrillex and Frank Ocean and of course the winner Michael Kiwanuka). definitely feels wrong that Jamie N Commons has charted higher than Skrillex and Frank Ocean. Michael Kiwanuka never really got anywhere though, what a non-event of a winner (my thoughts weren't any different at the time so thankfully he didn't get big)
