Apart from Army Of Me I don't like anything but I loved The Sugarcubes

She's the Radiohead of female singers for me. When she's on form she blows the rest out of existence. But it only happens 5% of the time.

Hyperballad, Pagen Poetry, Bachelorette, All is Full of Love (Plaid) are complete genius.

Q is the best, and I assume that's why we're not discussing it.

NME is TERRIBLE on an ABORTION level though.

Q is horrendous. It used to be passable - in the 90s.

That should be the title for the next Calvin Harris single

LCD Soundsystem

The Beatles

Bon Iver

Fleet Foxes

Justin Timberlake

Tame Impala

Pitchfork are slowly becoming irrelevant and will follow down the same path as NME/Rolling Stone, mark my words. They're already so out of touch. They cater to a specific kind of audience that is growing older/more stale (nearing into "alt-bro" territory but I think they've had enough sense this year to avoid that). I'm not sure what will take its place but The Fader / Dazed / Dummy / FACT are all far more relevant in 2013 in my eyes rn.

Bon Iver

Fleet Foxes

Tame Impala

oh dear God yes. I'd also add Animal Collective.

Timberlake releases good pop singles, in my opinion.

I'd agree with you on most Animal Collecitve albums but I have a soft spot for Feels / Sung Tongs
Remove Pagan Poetry from post 1998 Bjork and I agree.

I really should hate Coldplay but I dont. They seem to manage three decent singles off each album - until 2009, anyway.

They have just got worse with age if anything.

Don't really like anyone mentioned except PJ Harvey, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, The Beatles (particularly Magical Mystery Tour era) and Radiohead (before Kid A)

Hugely agree with Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes - just couldn't get into them despite the massive attention. Fleet Foxes LP started off really well I thought and, by the end, I didn't want to hear it again.

Also can't be doing with Florence and the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, Razorlight and virtually any band signed in the post-Arctic Monkeys wave. Oh, and I'll add Animal Collective - just had enough of listening to a bunch of farting Beach Boys mucking about.

Also can't stand The Courteeners, The Enemy and The Pigeon Detectives - but nobody else likes them anyway, so they don't count.

Nope...all downhill from Shiver...getting progressively worse.

Didn't spot this before I mentioned them. If ever there were an Emperor's New Clothes act then it's them.

Another 2 that are very close to joining my list are U2 and Muse

Both started off great with outstanding material but both have descended into churning out album after album of utter shit

Muse's last album was their best!

Went to their gig at Wembley Stadium when new one opened, one of best gigs ever been to  but i turned down free ticket in their last tour off my boss who couldn't go as recent stuff did nothing for me :o

Muse's last album was fairly terrible. They were trying to be a different band on each song except for the ones where they were trying really hard to be Muse and sounded like a parody of themselves.

The album before that was a mess too.

Fleet Foxes would be my nomination for this - they just leave me totally COLD and therefore I find all of their output just boring.

Re:Muse - "Panic Station" was alright though.

I liked The Big Freeze and Animals, and one of the 2nd Law songs was good.
I'm not sure why I keep buying their albums in the hope that they'll be like their 04-07 vintage when it's blatantly obvious they won't be.

I think their new album is a return to form!
