One fine day in August 2008 I was

shooting street style for style.com in the

Meatpacking District. My editor and I

were trolling for stylish folks when we

happened upon the young woman posing

above. When we approached her she was

shopping with her mom but took a

moment to pose for a photo. After taking

three frames I asked for her info and in a

very serious tone she responded, I am

Lady Gaga - a singer/songwriter. It took

all my energy to not break into hysterics,

needless to say I let out a laugh later that

day.

Sure enough it only took a couple months

until she started popping up everywhere.

After recounting this story recently to a

friend I decided to dig up the photos. It

seems that I caught her in the early

stages of transformation into the cyborg

we know and love today.

Rumour has it that Gaga's costume changes for the tour will be done onstage http://i.imgur.com/IzRvL2N.png similar to that of the iconic 'Applause' VMAs performance! It would make a lot of sense though with the RAVE theme, she wouldn't want to be too glamorous and at the same time sustain the show's momentum and keep the show energetic <3

Don't really like the thought of onstage costume changes. Sounds kinda messy to me and I like the illusion of one Gaga disappearing, and a whole new one appearing. :(

I would have liked the idea of this but she already did this trick at the Swinefest. :(

I'm absolutely not close-minded, because I listen to a ton of different genres. But this is just ****ing stupid. I don't even want to get their early to watch this ****. So cheesy, and I can't even understand what they are saying. This is embarrassing. I would rather have BTWB Starlight open rather than Kpop. Where are the SMP? Where is Madeon? The reason Gaga is going to take "20" people from GA to meet her backstage is because she needed some way to make sure her fans get there early for a good spot.

Well, at least I know I can arrive a little late! Never been into K-POP and probably never will. I don't like Bar Bar Bar and I probably won't like the rest of their music. My seat will be there so I can eat before or something. Disappointed but hey, if you like it, congrats.

Anything is better the Lady Starlight tbh!
