Just double-checked Bal's review as I'm sure she didn't do Judas last night and I don't remember her doing Aura either. :(

I always used to think she did more or less the same speeches at most of her shows, with BTWB when she was in SA, people that went to both shows said she did, but it's genuinely amazing to see each show has its very own special story to tell and that you actually can't predict what she will do or say <3

 

She seems to alternate the set list with every show too, was there a random song she did at your date Jahq?

 

BTW SO EXCITED FOR MONDAY'S LIVE STREAM!1!! That's basically my artRAVE experience - via a live stream. I guess it's Gaga's way of punishing me for not buying every copy of ARTPOP available in my country

Anthony (the name of the guy) had ARTPOP ZONE for yesterday's artRAVE in Newcastle and Gaga confirmed that the artRAVE DVD will be filmed along with the live stream at the artRAVE in Paris! :)

So I'm probably the only real fan on here who watched the stream last night and dare I say it artRAVE was her best tour and her best album. Gaga IS the best performing artist of our generation. My heart is shattered into a million pieces that this is all over now. She put so much heart into this era for 2 years and messy as it was, it brought me to tears when she cried during the show, the whole concept means so much to her and is it's constantly being mocked and misunderstood by the public and her fans

 

 

I have NEVER seen such energy in her performances before, she was f***ing radiating and she was gorgeous'Gypsy' was especially stunning and such an emotional moment in the show, the ending, the smash hit that never was, I burst into tears watching it. The stuff she said tho - there were so many MOMENTS!! Off the top of the head when she said "Taylor I'm coming home" and "I'll follow you around the world, as long as you'll have me" - I cried like a baby. Because she's worked so hard on this era and it just isn't appreciated and it's parodied as "ARTFLOP" - I just want to scream at the sheer thought of that tbh! Kath that post about what she means to you melts my heart. I fully emphasise with it because she has defined the past 6 years for me too. I am not as DIE-HARD as i used to be, but seeing posts like that, or hearing her utter even the simplest of phrases (like the "as long as you'll have me" one) really strike a chord with me and remind me why she is so special to me.

 

I have mixed emotions about this era ending; sad that we won't have any performances etc for a while and she'll probably go into hiding now it's over, but SO excited for the next project. Rest up and come back better than ever <3

Billboard: artRAVE Final gross revealed - $83 Million from 74 shows!

 

Landing at No. 2 in the Hot Tours tally is Lady Gaga with box office stats reported from the final five shows of her ArtRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball that ran from May through November. The tour followed the November 2013 release of her album ARTPOP, launching on May 4 with a 33-city swing through North America. Treks followed in Asia and Australia, and the tour's final leg was a two-month jaunt through European markets. The final performance was on Nov. 24 in Paris at the Palais Omnisports Bercy with a sellout arena crowd of 13,013 and a $1.2 million gross.

 

Overall sales totaled $83 million from 920,088 sold tickets at 74 performances during the tour's seven-month span. Like the Rolling Stones, Gaga's top gross also came from a multiple-show stint in Tokyo. She played two shows on Aug. 13 and 14 at QVC Marine Field, a baseball stadium in the Tokyo market. With 50,453 sold tickets, the two-night stand topped $7.8 million in box office revenue. She also played a stadium date in Japan on her Born This Way Ball in 2012. On that tour, she performed three shows at the 37,000-seat Saitama Super Arena, also in the greater Tokyo area, grossing $18.3 million from 96,550 sold seats.
