Posted August 29, 200618 yr Basically tell us all about what you think about Kylies 1991 "Lets get to it" album
August 29, 200618 yr snore, I never really got into this album. Even in the 90's when it came out I didn't enjoy it much. SAW could not keep up with the times and the sound was to dated for the mid 90's. Plus Kylie never seem interested in this album. Still, it gave us "give me just a little more time" and "finer feelings" which are overlooked but brilliant Kylie. however I could have lived without the 2 unlimited ripp off techno "I guess I like it" nonsense Edited August 29, 200618 yr by Ozx
August 30, 200618 yr Author Allmusic While it's certainly as danceable as Rhythm of Love, Let's Get to It seems to try too hard. By this point in her career, Kylie had transformed from her innocent dance-pop image to what the press dubbed "SexKylie." Obviously, this wasn't accidental on her part. From the title to the heavy breathing effects to the kind of creepy cover pic, this is Kylie as a self-made sex kitten. What makes this album interesting musically is that she has taken creative control of her career as well as image control. She co-wrote much of the record, and while there are some noticeable missteps (the stadium keyboard part that lays the foundation of "I Guess I Like It Like That," for example), she shows potential. Not her most solid release, but fans of her early work will enjoy it. 2.5/5
August 30, 200618 yr Author This album is so underappreciated it. It was her first critically liked album and I can see why. I love it
August 30, 200618 yr ive a mixed feeling on this album,at the time it was her most critically acclaimed album, but for a die hard fan it wasnt quite as good as the previous 3 albums, word is out was and still is a great single in my own opinion and it should have done better, but at this stage kylie's bubble was starting to burst a tiny bit and word is out didnt catch on with the younger music buyers thus interest in the album was lost, finer feelings was a song i could never get into,if you were with now is a great duet and a very nice ballad, its a nice album that i sometimes listen to but probably my least fave pwl album, although i loved i guess i like it
August 30, 200618 yr Author I love it. But i agree it didnt have a huge catchy stand out track but overall i love this album.
August 30, 200618 yr ya it didnt have that big lead single either but it still has its strong moments
August 30, 200618 yr and in a funny way impossible princess is probably a far more known album to the public than km 94
August 30, 200618 yr Author Yeah you probably right. It sold better but is prob her least known album sadly
August 30, 200618 yr Author I think KM94 is quite known becuase a lot of people do love confide in me
August 30, 200618 yr ya i suppose looking at it that way you are rigt,as as much as i hate saying it confide in me is a popular and well known kylie song
August 31, 200618 yr Author Its prob the one song that i remember a lot of my straight friends really liked. I think she stopped being just a gay thing which is great se can be liked by both.
August 31, 200618 yr Kylie always seemed really uninterested during the time of this. Everything seemed half hearted. I often forget about this album.
August 31, 200618 yr The last time I listend to this album was when I was ironing clothes at your house! lol
August 31, 200618 yr I do not like the singles of it to much. With the exception of "give me just a little more time" and "finer feelings" is okay. I think it was a lazy album
