Rochelle is apparently going on Radio 1 tomorrow.

Don't they usually premiere new singles as a group though?

John Martin's single which would have been The Saturdays' most difficult competition has been brought forward a week to March 30th! So that will possibly help The Saturdays out, although I'm sure John will sell very well over several weeks.

Awesome news! He must've seen the video and decided he didn't want to compete :P

No, they premiered 'Disco Love' individually from different city. I think Rochelle was giving the interview in London, Mollie somewhere else, etc.

For comparison's sake, here's how prior releases did with pre-orders in their first three days of availability compared to Not Giving Up:

Not Giving Up EP: 49-73-73-

Disco Love (Remixes): N/A (did not enter Top 100 until release)

Gentleman EP: 34-65-OUT

What About Us EP: N/A (did not enter Top 100 until one week prior to release)

30 Days EP: 11-39-81-OUT

My Heart Takes Over EP: N/A (did not enter Top 100 until release)

My Heart Takes Over (Remixes): 51-58-OUT

All Fired Up (Remixes): N/A (did not enter Top 100 until release)

Gentleman and 30 Days had such a great start?! Ha! Kinda crazy considering how it turned out.

I kinda hope people will start preordering the Single version itself. They need to climb really quickly in the top 10 when it will be released on midnight the 06 April. The more preorders they get on that side, the better it is for the iTunes peak.

Exactly, and I'm certain that will happen as airplay picks up. It WILL pick up ^_^

As far as 30 Days, it's no secret that the EP did amazing (#1 on iTunes upon release) and is a big part of why they were #2 in the midweeks. It looks like NGU is on track to match its success EP wise.

Was this previously posted? Una's blog about the video: http://blog.hellomagazine.com/unahealy/201...r-latest-video/

Interesting that Una and Mollie were originally meant to be doing opposite scenes! (i.e. Una lying down and Mollie on the table).

Mollie's verse screams lying down, I don't even know how director thought of Mollie on a spinning table at first. Thank God for traffic!

Didn't Not giving up go to number 59 yesterday ? It's third day. Also isn't this doing better than the others because orders between the EP and single will be split? Disco Love was the first to have a single pre-order right?

The video has 106, 000 views now, again, I'm 100% if that's any good.

Good news.

Of course Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Rihanna or mostly likely Flo Rida will obviously drop their surprise megahit that week anyway.

lmao it's April so he actually might.

First video in a good while where they are all having their periods regularly and none are pregnant (yet :o) :P

YET, nothing stops one of them announcing it the week before the release ;)

The horror and uproar this forum would be in over any of those artists releasing on the same week

Miley & Beyoncé are in the middle of album campaigns, therefore won't drop a new song. Flo Rida's new single is already up for Pre-Order and comes out next month and it's infinitely shit so I doubt that will disturb The Sats, so that leaves Rihanna, whom tbh I don't see releasing any new material in april.

The Saturdays ‏@TheSaturdays 12m

Whoop whoop! "@VEVO: Watch the illuminating new video from #VEVOLIFT alumnae @TheSaturdays: http://vevo.ly/IMTVIQ #NotGivingUp"

What does VEVOLIFT this mean? I read somewhere that that helped What About Us get some views?

They had a boost then so are classed as the alumnae now, i think? Thats a good RT tho as over 1.7m follow @VEVO on twitter!
It does. Im pretty sure that means their used in adverts etc on youtube

It's a special program of Vevo that promotes new artists. They record interviews with them and their videos get extra promotion. They were Vevo Lift artists around the time of Chasing The Saturdays.

In some ways I think it's crazy (and stupid) that they didn't follow What About Us with this. But on the other hand, Disco Love would've felt extremely underwhelming coming from those two anthems, and I don't think it would've sold the album that well.

Although I guess we'll never know what would have happened.

Edit: sorry for the double post.

The site I got this from uses whatever position the track is at during a certain point of the day, I think midnight (doesn't use the peak from that day).

Not Giving Up on Radio 1 RIGHT NOW.

The Vamps are apparently releasing their new single the same week as 'Not Giving Up' is being released.
