I think it's a great offer. Love the fact you can see via Groupon how many have sold as well. Although it is completely obvious they are desperate to sell the tickets, it should help the venues to fill up a bit more. I really don't want to walk into 2.5k capacity theatres and see whole levels of seats empty.

I find it crazy that you can buy 5th and 6th row tickets for Cardiff and Birmingham via the AEG sale!

Cardiff and Manchester seem to be the most popular, over 40 people have purchased tickets (at least 80 extra in each venue!) I would have thought London would have been popular, being at Wembley Arena, but they've sold just shy of 30 tickets (only on Groupon, this doesn't take into consideration the people who might have gone straight to AXS/AEG as well)

It's a shame that they have had to do this, but it's such a good deal! I would do another date, but the amount I'm already spending doing three dates is astronomical worked all out, with hotels, trains tickets and extra stuff.

Manchester would be my preferred date as Sheffield and Nottingham are the dates before them and I'm going to both, but the trains and hotels are already looking at about £300, minus ticket prices and extra stuff while I'm there. Also, I have London the Friday after, then I'm off to see Kylie Minogue and Caro Emerald in October as well!

Shame but at least I'm getting to three of the shows :)

Also, didn't they do something like this for All Fired Up Tour? I know they did the competitions on their Twitter.

There is a deal of AEG, too, where you can actually SEE the tickets you're getting. I've got some Brighton ones for my friends as a gift. Not amazing seats but oh well. They'll probably manage to sell out in a fair few venues now with Tumble/Groupon combined.
^ I don't think they were ever promoted as 2 for 1, but I remember competitions. Plus, apparently Capital FM were given over a thousand tickets for their staff members and to give away to listeners.
So it says 292 people have brought the offer doesn't that mean an extra 584 tickets have been sold?

I'm pretty sure it does. If they can sell 1000 tickets through Groupon, that should considerably bulk up the venues. I bet this deal is the first some people have seen about the tour.

They've sold 380 pairs of tickets through this deal now. Surely Groupon could have done like 30% off and they'd have sold almost as much. Half price seems TOO cheap. Either way, I'm glad they've sold some extra seats. They've sold:

That's 120 extra seats sold in Cardiff, 74 in London, 104 in Manchester etc... I'm certain 3 or 4 venues will be sold out by Monday. Funny that Cardiff is where they were struggling the most, yet they've sold the most through Buy 1 get 1 free. What does that say about my hometown?

It says the Welsh definitely like a bargain! I was thinking the same about the theares selling out. Hopefully Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle can. I'd hope that they could keep it running as long as possible as this is definitely working. You may as well take £14 from someone for a ticket, than leave it empty because someone doesn't want to pay full price.

I'm completely obsessed by the Groupon page. I've been checking it all day watching the sales numbers increase and seeing where people are buying tickets for.

It's running for 5 more days and 7 hours, so I guess Wednesday? Which is good because it'll be something that will still show up after they've been on Tumble.

Hopefully by the time venues are almost full they have the sense to end this offer.

It's ending in 5 days no matter what it seems.

A bit of a shame that they have to do this, but I suppose needs must. Definitely a preferable option than performing to not-very-full venues or even being forced to cancel. This really is a bargain so I'm glad this has at least swayed more people into going to see them.

My tickets came today with no sign of the VIP package?!

The tickets just say the standard amount and there's no instructions about the M&G.

Has anyone else had theirs?

I've seen people complain about this on twitter. I have no idea though, I didn't order VIP.

They've sold over 1000 seats with that groupon deal now, it's by far the fastest and highest selling deal on Groupon. Surely they didn't have to make it THAT cheap? 30% off would have still sold them loads.

Even though it's ending in 5 days, Groupon should only have been given as certain amount of tickets, so deals often end a lot earlier.

I do find it sad that they have to do that. There's a fine line between promo and desperation and 2 for 1 or 50% off comes across desperate. They NEED to make money off this tour.

They will have made money from this tour tbh.

I'm not bothered if it's encouraging neutral people to attend the concert because it could increase album sales tbh. Glasgow must be selling well if they're not doing any advertisements for that!

Yeah, I'd rather they did this than to just give up. The fuller the venues the better. Nobody remembers that there were Groupon deals months later, but people remember half empty Venues.

Groupon deal has allowed them to fill over 1,600 seats and has added 200 people to Cardiff, Manchester and Nottingham so far.

It's a bit sad they had to offer the discounts, but in the end, the tour is selling. They'll make a bit of money and more people will listen to their songs.

I think for All Fired Up Live the VIP bit came seperate

Yeah, I think I remember people mentioning that back then.
