Lady Gaga to be part of NYC Time Capsule

"The New York Historical Society plans to seal a new time capsule this week that is more reflective of our current pop culture.

 

Inside the capsule, high school students who have spent the summer interning at the Historical Society will each contribute one item. There will be an issue of the New York Times and magazines, an iPhone and Kindle, metro cards and subway maintenance signs. Others added a ticket from Lady Gaga’s final performance at Roseland Ballroom, the historical concert venue that shuttered its doors that same night , and a shirt that reads “Some dudes marry dudes, get over it,” signifying the major advances made in the rights of same-sex couples."

Tony Bennett Suggests a Movie Project to Gaga

Don’t stop till you get enough! Superstar 88 year old crooner Tony Bennett has plans for a second album with Lady Gaga. Their first one, “Cheek to Cheek,” debuted last week at number 1. It’s currently top 5 five everywhere in every format. When I congratulated Tony on the album’s success, he replied: “It’s terrific. But wait til you hear the next one. Plus, we’re going on tour soon. It’s going to be amazing!”

He’s right. The combination is dynamite. Through Bennett, Gaga has found a new voice– and some think it’s the one she was born to sing with. She was born this way! (Sorry.)

The Bennett- Gaga combo has done so well that Tony has suggested a movie project to the former meat dress wearer. He asked me not to reveal what it is, so I shan’t. But it’s a good idea. Anyway, maybe the next Bennett- Gaga recording will be on Tony’s label, Columbia. The first one is on Interscope.

Personally I would resort to a cheese sandwich in a time of financially desperation, but on an average day I would avoid a sandwich altogether and opt for something more wholesome and exciting. Gaga, a proud italian, well-known for her love for Italian cuisine and coffee would most definitely not approve of such a basic form of food, it is not very ARTPOP
