Thanks to Haze's smart but risky stunt a few days ago, the album's been pushed back a couple of months and is now scheduled to be released on December 30 instead of March.

Hmm?

Hmm?

She was the one who leaked it, I think it was because she was fed up with it being delayed so it was getting back at the label almost.

Although it must be said that the album she uploaded on soundcloud was taken down immediately, so yesterday's leak is not her work.

She was pissed off because the label decided to push the album back until March, yep.

I love the album btw. Angels & Airwaves is... really emotional.

This is so good. Such a polished, complete package.

I didn't even take much notice of her beyond 'Echelon (It's My Way)' but she has my full attention now

Spamming for this but don't even care.

OBSESSED. She speaks in volumes throughout it all. 'Sing For Me', 'Echelon', 'Dirty Gold', 'Deep Sea Diver', 'Black Synagogue', 'Angels & Airwaves', 'Crown', 'Battle Cry' SO many highlights

i think this is a very coherent album but you can totally see that they've sanded the edges off her. much like azealia / iggy, most of their charm lay in their ratchet bootleg demos. most of the production on this sounds like it was mastered to be a big hit like 'i need a doctor' / 'the monster' / 'airplanes' / 'love the way you lie'/

I definitely see that occasionally (even with some of the stuff on ARTPOP where the final products are too well polished/over-produced etc compared to earlier versions) but this seems so subtle and just raw at the same time. And so much personality. I guess i haven't followed her long enough to have anything to compare to?

And dare i say a completely different league to Azealia and Iggy.

i definitely think angel has the rawness that the others don't possess, and the talent. azealia made her dolla$$$ by being crass, iggy's was her put-on accent and her white girl vibes but angel is probs the only one out of the three of them that feel like a proper rapper

love iggy and like azealia as well so u know

i haven't put much time into her thus far but isn't 'battle cry' essentially 'love the way you lie'?

weird, given i remember her demos showing such promise. it's like lew has said above.

colour me disinterested

"Deep Sea Diver" is iTunes single of the week, spread the word.

Waiting on news of the physical release before I purchase the album.

...and 'Black Dahlia'.

Physical release date confirmed: 27th January. Just pre-ordered my copy. "A Tribe Called Red" is just incredible, think "Battle Cry (feat. Sia)" is being serviced as the next single; it's just been added to the R1Xtra playlist at least.

"Battle cry" is f***ing IMMENSE. I don't know if she'll get much support now but the song could be huge.

By the way, the whole album is amazing.

Everyone should give it a listen, even if it's not the kind of music you listen to, you won't be disappointed. It's full of gems.

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT they'd choose a Sia track as the next single after the massive flop of the album.

It's one of the worst track there too. :(

But overall love her, amazing album, and I've been on her gig, she was a pure energy.

Strong video and I love the song too.

I get why some wouldn't love it though, it might be a bit too commercial for her but at the same time she needs to sell the album.
