I watched this a few times when I was very little. I had no real idea what it was about and I can barely remember any of the plot, but I think I used to like it ^_^

 

I also remember finding out David Bowie was a singer, that surprised me! :lol:

It's alright. Haven't seen it for ages.

I've seen this quite a few times. :o It used to be on just about every friday back in the days when nickelodeon used to good. ^_^ I can't remember anything about the film though as its been years since I last saw it.

:lol: watched this movie last night! its ok more of a childs film though, brought back a few memories! :D

It definitely has a cult following... along with other 80's childhood favs like The Neverending Story and The Princess Bride.

 

Someone told me recently to find the 1982 film The Dark Crystal. Apparently it is Jim Hensen's only dark film and it's quite bizarre and disturbing. Anyone seen it?

I liked it as a kid, but didn't enjoy it at all when I watched it recently (save for Magic Dance of course).
