According to alot of sources, Dannii is working on a new album :cheer: it will apparantly be dance orientated with some personal lyrics regarding her split wit Kris

Aussie popstar Dannii Minogue is currently working on her latest album for the first time in ten years despite being linked to a return on the X Factor UK judges panel, reports suggest.

The 42-year-old singer is reportedly set to release a ''very personal'' new album, and will open up about her split from Kris Smith.

''The record will be very personal,” a source told the Daily Mirror. “Dannii wants to cover the events from the last couple of years.

''She's kept quiet about a lot of things and is using her music as an opportunity to finally speak about it all. She's actually finding it really therapeutic."

Dannii's biggest hit came back in 2003, breaking the top three with her dance smash 'I Begin To Wonder' taken from the top ten album 'Neon Nights'. Since then she landed a slot on the most coveted judging panel in Britain appearing on four series of the UK version of The X Factor while she still currently appears on the Australian version of the show.

Meanwhile, sources have said that the brunette babe is still being pursued by ITV for a return to the music talent show in the UK.

According to The Mirror, Simon Cowell is reportedly keen to reunite the show's “classic” judging panel along with Cheryl Cole.

A source told the publication: “Dannii is still very popular in the UK and many people at ITV feel the return of Sharon Osbourne this year was positive and would like to do the same with Dannii.

"The show was most successful a number of years ago so they need some of that success and spark, perhaps mixed with one or two new faces from the music industry today."

They continued: "Dannii and Simon together could be very intriguing and exciting on screen, there is a lot of history there."

I'll certainly believe that when I see it...

We wouldn't believe it until we see the real CD... But then, she declined to be a judge for X-Factor this year, so that could mean something? :P

Good sign.

If Dannii comes back would be fantastic, I love her too. And a Kylie + Dannii duet? :kink:

We did get a Dannii and Kylie duet a few years ago on Dannii's updated best of album called "The winner takes it all" but it wasn't very good.

It was better than the original.

I love Kylie but that comment is just ridiculous, Abba are amazing, truly the best pop band in history. I like kylies version but dont try and compare it the by far superior original
