On Friday 10th of January, the 14 finalists in the Belarussian national final will compete to win the ticket to Copenhagen! You can listen to all the entries here.

Here is the running order of performances in the national selection:

Natalia Tamelo - Not What I've Been Looking For

Nuteki - Fly Away

Artem Mikhalenko - Rapsodia No.1

Matvei Cooper and band DUX - Strippers

TEO - Cheesecake

Daria - Starlight

Elena Siniavskaya - Via Lattea

Alina Moshchenko - Angel Crying

Janette - You Will Be Here

Anastasia Milashevskaya - Runaway

Switter Boys feat. Kate&Volga Karol - Vechnaya Lubov (Love Forever)

Band Napoli - Stay With Me

Max Lorens & Didyulya - Now You're Gone

Tasha Odi - Empty Universe

Hopefully Mr. Lukashenko have already approved all of the entries, so we won't get any last minute changes. (As long the entry is good enough)

VIA LATTEA :o  Please send it, I loved it from the first second!

Miles ahead the other contenders!

I'm shocked at the lack of hype here. The Belorussian NF is the highlight of every eurovision season.

I'd say Lukashenko's personal decision on the final result tends to be.

And Via Lattea is like a mash-up of Euphoria and La Voix but INFINITELY more dreadful (and therefore is the obvious choice for the Belorussian entry in the ongoing CASSANDRAVISION SONG CONTEST *.*)

So, that's Belarus out of the final then...

Isn't it?

Oh my GOD! http://web.archive.org/web/20130928031343im_/http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/grin.gif

I can't decide if this MESS is COLD or HOT

But it's FUN http://web.archive.org/web/20130929025537im_/http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/disco.gif

I'd give it about a ten percent chance of actually being the Belarussian entry by the time we get to Copenhagen.

There's a bit of a whiff of Moldova '06 off it, isn't there?! Awful. D:

That was my exact thought! Except this isn't quite as much of a snooze as Loca was.

I quite like him it. However, Via Lattea would definitely have been more of a "moment" in Copenhagen, possibly for the wrong reasons.

I can see it in the final. Well, if Solayoh can make it through...

Belarus isn't a country I usually look out for... although I rather liked Solayah even though it was ten years out of time!

Solayoh was for all intents and purposes a mid-00s Greek entry - there's always a voting base for that!* The only precedent for this being a Moldovan entry which autoqualified and flopped probably isn't the best of omens...

*which included myself on the night. I'm always WEAK for a fun 4 europe entry after a jeroboam of Kopparberg. And who can ARGUE with a woman who begins the song with the stage directions 'ENTER STAGE DISCOBALL' *.*

What? I.. er... just what.

It's trying to be novelty but just ends up being a 'maybe okay if drunk' pop track with very dodgy lyrics. Change please.

ASIDE: this will definitely be changed.

(if only because the reference to Google Maps breaches the rules forbidding commercial namechecks. so the lyrics will be changed if nothing else.)

(i wouldn't count on 'if nothing else' though.)

Thing is, you got the impression that they were actually rigging it for this song to win in between the Public vote being announced and the jury votes declared. *cough*Enginered tie break with Jury having the final say after an impromptu extended interval*cough*

Dear GOD if so!

(That said I'm surprised they didn't just do that BEFORE now.)
