Mind you - if Roy keeps going around apologising to everyone he meets - I could quite readily go off him! I don't know why he just doesn't pay to go to one of those Madam Syn characters who'd give him 50 lashes and be done with it!

The most shocking thing about all of this is the fact that ITV don't see any problems with Stuart Blacburn. He ruined Emmerdale now he's destroyed Corrie.

The ending of Corrie the other night when Steve was crying was so, so bad. Second-hand embarrassment. It goes to show he's a decent comedic actor but when it comes to the serious stuff, just no.

It truly has gone a bit haywire. It comes to something when Tracey and Amy are the saving graces of an episode (which they were on Friday night). I'm quickly losing patience with Corrie at present. I'm glad in a way - it means I can spend my time more fruitfully doing other things.

Tbh with this, it's a case of I'll watch if I'm in and there's nothing better on (which I usually am and there never is). If I do miss it or forget or watch or whatever, I don't care, whereas with Eastenders or Hollyoaks for example I'll always catch up. There is just nothing happening at the moment at all, there are odd good little silly bits (like Sally/Tim most of the time and Tracey/Amy the other day) but the """"storylines""" they actually have making up most of the episodes are awful.

I used to watch Corrie religiously - but I'm not too bothered if I miss it. I have this and Emmerdale recorded on our (whatever-its-called-box) but sometimes I can just by-pass the Corrie episodes. Having said that - nothing could induce me to watch Eastenders while Shane Richie is still around.

Lol we are so on the same page with Shane Richie. I stopped watching due to him ages ago. Just given up on Corrie too.

Corrie was never my fave soap,my other half likes it and a result I see it,its very bad at the moment,the storylines just are weak and dull at the moment and the way people are treating Roy makes no sense at all.The new family dont no their names but they are dreadful. Totally agree - Corrie's one saving grace at the moment is that it doesn't have Shane Richie in it. :lol:

Personally I reckon Kym Marsh & Anthony Cotton both must have some serious shit on the producers to still be on the show.

As much as I can't stand either actor - I don't actually mind the characters they're playing. Anthony Cotton can come out with some good lines and delivers them well. Kym Marsh - I think she plays the part well too (it isn't too hard to play after all).

 

Watching Corrie just now - and Doreen Corkhill from Brookside has turned up!!!!

 

How come David is so concerned about Kylie? He kicked her out didn't he and said he didn't care where she went!

I don't buy Callum as this crooked drug dealer. He's too pretty boy esque. I half expected him to flirt back with Sean.

I loved Beth when she first started out, her friendship with Tracey etc. I still like her now, just a shame she's been lumped with the piss poor Family that she has. Sinead is foul.

 

Currently my biggest hatred is for Anna Windass, I'd clap if she died right now
