Posted August 31, 200618 yr With JT set to potentially do the "Triple" next week, does anyone have a list of all the songs that have topped the US, UK and AUS charts at the same time?
August 31, 200618 yr 11 or 12 songs have done it - Usher's 'Yeah' was one of them, can't remember the rest, a website I know had them, search for 'Oznet number ones' on Google, you should find it :D
August 31, 200618 yr With JT set to potentially do the "Triple" next week, does anyone have a list of all the songs that have topped the US, UK and AUS charts at the same time? I know Usher - Yeah (2004), Eminem - Loose Yourself (2002) , Nelly ft Kelly - Dilema (2002), I think Usher was the last though, but I could be wrong?
August 31, 200618 yr Whitney might have done with 'I Will Always Love You' I know it was #1 for multiple weeks in all let me check :kink:
August 31, 200618 yr This was on Wiki for I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. The single was also a huge success in other countries, eventually topping the United Kingdom chart and Australia's ARIA Singles chart for ten weeks each, and became only the ninth song in history (and first by a female artist) to be at number one on the US, UK, and ARIA single charts simultaneously.

August 31, 200618 yr Erm, Australia is NOT one of the Big Three. The third most significant is either Japan or Germany... Australia is one of the Big Three - the three biggest English speaking countries with the msot significant charts, it's not based on sales.
August 31, 200618 yr Why does a country have to speak English to be considered musically-significant? Japan and Germany are both markets considered to be of better value to break than the Australian one...
August 31, 200618 yr the charts from there arent mentioned as much because Orricon only publishes them in Japanese
August 31, 200618 yr Why does a country have to speak English to be considered musically-significant? Japan and Germany are both markets considered to be of better value to break than the Australian one... No - the Big Three refers specifically to the 3 biggest English speaking markets, it doesn't necessarily indicate that it is a more significant chart than some others.
August 31, 200618 yr I don't think that anybody outside the UK and Australia knows what The Big Three is. I have never heard about a new record in the so-called Big Three before. In European countries only the US und UK charts are mentioned on tv and radio. In Europe there is currently more interest in Asian than in Australian charts, because new acts (Shanadoo, Jade) having a breakthrough.
