Due to the appearance of a recent random question thread, my fellow pop mods have decided we should create a thread to house all random questions to avoid clutter and also to prevent posters thinking "is this really worth a thread?" when wondering the answer to whatever is on their mind. This thread also makes it easier for people to see when a question has been asked and possibly answer that question, so it's better all round :D Obviously we'd rather you not spam the thread with questions like "what's the release date for [upcoming album]?" (we have a new release schedule in the chart forum) or "who's better: Girls Aloud or The Saturdgays?" because this really shouldn't turn into a random spam thread. This thread should be used for requests for information (preferably info not easily Googled) only, but if you ask a question we'll probably answer it regardless.

As of now, any random question threads that pop up shall be moved to this thread and (hopefully!) answered, so try not to post a thread and then get confused when it disappears ^_^ If you've any confusion about this thread, feel free to ask.

Your pop mods,

Liam, Ryan and Umi

I hope you guys can help me with this. Does any body have a link to the list of best selling artists? I am looking for a list that has Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, Shakira...etc.

Thanks

Well for one, there's the wikipedia list, though whether you find that reliable or not is entirely up to you. Obviously you're best off looking at the "total certified sales" column if you're looking for hard up facts (though I can't say I've checked how reliable the sources are!). Unfortunately it's exceptionally difficult to find any other major lists that don't list wiki as a source so this is likely the most reliable you'll get, but given that history's best selling artists are so often brought up in discussion, I'd be willing to bet that wiki's list isn't frought with errors.
Thanks you so much! I can go from there. You've been very helpful. ^_^

This is a first rough draft of a Top 10 Pop Song video. How can it be done better?

Thanks!

Wow that looks really professional! I love the transition between the songs. Tbh I wouldn't know what to change.

Hi everyone,

I had the pleasure to discover this group couple of days ago. I couldn't find any other songs available. Does anyone know anything about them? They're called "Bogdan & The Frogs". The song I love is: "Glorious"

I know nothing about them but they have a website and various other platforms for sharing info so I'm going to suggest a quick Google search for you ^_^

Hi,

This is a long shot and I don't have a lot to go off, but I heard a song on the radio (not sure if it was Capital, Radio 1, or a local station). I've heard it once or twice before. There's a female singer over one of those current beats, like storm queen, breach, rudimental, disclosure etc, not sure how to describe it. It's not afterglow. I can't seem to find anything on the charts either.

Again, long shot, but feel free to shout out if you think you know what it is!

Thanks.

A female singer and a dance beat?

Do you have anymore information about it?

maybe the lyrics or something?

That could really be anything. House/drum & bass-ish songs with female vocals that I've heard on the radio recently that currently aren't in the charts:

Breach - Everything You Never Had

MK - Always

Chase & Status - Count On Me

Route 94 - My Love

Katy B - 5 AM

Katy B - I Like You

Wookie/Eliza Doolittle - The Hype

All About She - Higher

T Williams - On My Own

Julio Bashmore/Jessie Ware - Peppermint

Matrix & Futurebound - Control

Sub Focus - Turn Back Time

Disclosure - Voices

Disclosure - Confess to Me

Or it could be an older hit that's still getting recurrent play, like COOL by Le Youth or something like that.

I thinks its All About She!

Even the radio station would shed some light!

Hey I'm looking to post a new thread on Jessica Clemmons new release.

She is a country POP singer from Houston.. would this be the correct thread as their is no Country thread.

Here is the track, if that makes it easier for you determine its placement?

Thanks in advance.
