March 25, 200619 yr you can find the definite list on www.everyhit.com, for all one hit wonders, its updated more extensively HERE
March 25, 200619 yr This list is wrong also. Tony Christie, Nelly, Ciara and DJ Sammy have all have other hits for starters. It actually explains it in the notes, that's why they are shaded
March 25, 200619 yr 2001 DJ Pied Piper & The Master Of Ceremonies Do You Really Like It I have just remembered what an awful song that was, but at the time it was brilliant.
March 25, 200619 yr Author It actually explains it in the notes, that's why they are shaded Yea, I got it, I think that's taking it a bit far into featureed artists.
March 25, 200619 yr Yea, I got it, I think that's taking it a bit far into featureed artists. I tend to agree on that point, it should be listed under the main artist, for example Peter Kay looks silly on it, as a featured artist.
March 26, 200619 yr You're on the right track but the TRUE one hit wonders are those having just one number one and nothing else hit the COMPLETE CHART EVER. The complete chart is: 1952-1956 Top 20 - 1956-1960 Top 30 - 1960-1978 Top 50 - 1978-present Top 75. You can get a complete list up to the end of 2004 HERE. It will be brought up to date with 2005 & 2006 when the website is rebuilt. Edited March 26, 200619 yr by Euro Music
March 26, 200619 yr Found this one hit wonder list. 2000: Black Legend: You See The Trouble With Me 2000: Spiller: Groovejet These 2 are incorrect also as they both had a further hit
March 26, 200619 yr If you exclude the artists that are featured, the only ones to add so far after 2004 will be 2005 Steve Bookstein 2005 Nizlopi (new single pending) 2005 Shayne Ward (new single pending) 2006 Chico 2006 Orson
March 27, 200619 yr Author These 2 are incorrect also as they both had a further hit Not by the definition above. But both of those had a minor followup that was not Top20 The following artists/bands have all had ONE number one hit single but have not managed another Top 20 hit ... ever.
March 27, 200619 yr Author Oliver chetham Oliver was a featured artist and not the main one, so it comes under Room5
March 27, 200619 yr 2001 DJ Pied Piper & The Master Of Ceremonies Do You Really Like It I have just remembered what an awful song that was, but at the time it was brilliant. I hated it at the time and I still hate it now. Meredith Brooks is definitely a one hit wonder, she had a top 10 hit with 'Bitch' around 1997.
