One question as a newbie! Where does this data on new releases come from? Is it 'official' from labels, or just 'guestimates' from social media etc.. I guess the former.

Its a mixture of sources; Itunes, Amazon and other download sites, music news sites, Music Week magazine, official artists websites/facebook/twitter, record company information, promo company information etc

 

Its what makes collating and creating the schedule such a time-consuming job
