Kylie has been there for a while. She was 700ish a couple of days ago.

She needs a performance to really give it a kickstart, a la Can't Rely on You.

To be honest, I didn't check the top 1500, but slowly she needs to climb on pre-orders too imo if she wants a top 10 place.

But why would they struggle now when they had success with ones like Higher, Issues, Ego in the past? With their songs it's mainly seems down to the airplay they get.

And their last two singles didn't make it to the a-list on Radio 1. Their only singles to not get there. So I think they're justified here just in case the same happens with Not Giving Up.

IMO pre-orders are virtually irrelevant in her case - she has her very loyal fanbase, plus publicity from The Voice.

They were all released basically a different generation ago.

With regards to Kylie, she always used to rely on physicals to help her last time around but with them not being so readily available now that may harm her a bit. Still got fairly high hopes for this single, at least in terms of it getting a respectable peak.

Did all these help for Time Bomb? well, no

Except 'Time Bomb' was released OA/OS and she wasn't on The Voice at that time, so 'Into the Blue' should easily out peak it. I don't think it'll go top 10 or have a lengthy chart run though.

Into The Blue will *easily* go top 10 IMO, it has Capital support and she's likely going to get a performance on The Voice. Really cannot see it missing the top 10.

Timebomb was OA/OS and released on a Friday so that kinda let it down. Shame as it's one of her best. :(

I forgot about that. tbh it deserved so much more, such a great song :(

Of course Into The Blue will go Top 10. She has a huge fanbase in the UK. I think it'll peak in the Top 5 as well.

To be fair, she did perform 'Timebomb' on The Voice and that didn't do much for it.

It would've done had the song been released on a Sunday as opposed to a Friday I think, as the sales were split, meaning the first full week didn't have the instant fanbase sales.

It's so annoying. :(

It sold pretty well for a #31 smash though, and had a fair few weeks in the chart.

Indeed, it should've done a whole lot better. :( It almost re-entered the top 40 the week the physical was out though

Come On To Me (feat. Sean Paul) - Major Lazer is now in the top 100, it is an incredible track

No it didn't. It's kinda surprising that the Sean Paul one is doing better, as Pharrell is a lot more relevant in today's music scene (but to be fair Aerosol Can isn't exactly the most commercial song ever)

Timebomb reached #4 on iTunes without any promotion and fanbase alone and when she performed on The VOice, it didn't have as big as viewers as it has increased to now so it'll have a bigger impact. Not to mention it also didn't have any support from major radio stations. Into the BLue is being adored by Capital and Radio 2

I really want Into The Blue to be a top 10 single I'm just afraid that her fanbase is not enough anymore.
