I think it's interesting to mention that III was no 14 (up from 21) last week in the Scottish chart, which makes sense, since all the gig dates were in Scotland.

I think we should see III climb more in top 40 once the tour hits England, where most of the sales occur.

When the tour makes its full impact in the UK i would be left extremely disappointed if the album did not make large inward moves up the charts.

I'm almost sure that, on Sunday, III will be back in top 40, at 33-36.

Yesterday, it was @37.

Hopefully,I see in Ireland three is up to number 32 so with the tour on Fri and sat night I expect a big climb this week.

Well, at least it stayed it top 40. Based on sales, it was the same as last week: no 34, so no decline there, which means it's the streaming pulling it down.

Hopefully it'll get to half a million. That's still impressive
Looking at this weeks sales information, Three would have achieved sales of 2,400 for last week.
Wonderful news, another week in the top 40 this week would be great and with tour dates to comes it could be top 40 for another couple of weeks.

So Higher Than Higher is being released on 8th June and I've heard it being played on my local radio station. This song was my favourite instantly from the album although I don't think anyone is expecting it to chart top 100.

I like the fact they appear to have listened to what the fans have said and also they have seen a campaign through with three singles even if two haven't gone top 100. I hope a music video is produced also even if it's a tie in with tour footage as it can be played on TV.

The single CD is again limited edition so even if all are bought in first week I don't think the single would get inside top 100.

I think them getting #1 with These Days was just in time as we all know the chart rules changed shortly after so unsure where the single would have charted in current chart methodology. I think TT like any older act have to find out who to succeed in the market as it currently is. They adapted to downloads even if the single release strategies have been a bit hit and miss and think they'll have to embrace streaming though as I don't use it I wouldn't know how you advertise and get people to use it.

The strategy for singles to chart to my knowledge has not changed since Take That released these days. They achieved number 1 the same as the current number 1 reached the top spot a combination of downloads and streams.

You're right Pippa, ironically it was the addition of streaming that might have pushed them over the line and towards their number 1. I think you may be talking about the album changes, they came in after the Brits.
Yes, album changes came later, that said, streaming is having very little impact on the album chart, especially outside the top 5 so it has not harmed their chart positions to badly just yet. I am unsure if Let in the Sun lost out on a top 100 place due to streaming or not but i am almost certain streaming did not make a difference and it would have missed out on a top 100 place regardless.
Im really hoping for a good position for the album when the Irish charts are announced tomorrow, im hoping top 15 at lowest.
