Wow, Elisabeth.

Rob is truly blessed to have such a devoted fan as yourself. One who is forever willing to remind people of his outstanding charismatic personality ,supreme talent and unwavering popularity.

Please feel free to listen and watch Rob to your hearts content. Enjoy the flashing of questionable underpants, the swearing and bad manners, the out of tune singing, the crowd finishing songs because either he can't be bothered, or he simply isn't able to reach the notes.

Finally, please enlighten us all. Did Take That do something to upset you in a previous life? :)

Couldn't have said it better myself!

I believe we still have some people who are Robbie fans and find it hard to give even a small compliment to Take That.

Wow, Elisabeth.

I don't normally post here, but I have to say that you're like a record that's stuck on repeat. Yes, Robbie is more successful than Take That. We know it, we *get* it, but some of us just don't care about Robbie's spectacular sales figures and prefer TT anyway, so why not give it a rest? I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by bringing Robbie's popularity into the discussion over and over again? A lot of my favourites sell next to nothing, but that certainly doesn't make me like them less.

Well said, Insomniac! And welcome!

Was anyone else impressed by Take That's performance at the Apple Music Festival? I dare say it was the best performance in quite some years. I was blown away by Pray and Relight. Great stage presence as well (well, maybe Howard should have smiled more).

In case anyone missed the performance:

Thanks for posting the link , Milly! I made a similar comment on the other thread. They were absolutely fantastic. I agree Pray was brilliant and RMF - although not one of my favourites, was, perhaps, the best rendition I've heard of the song.

I would have liked one or two more songs from lll and Said It All on the set list. TT are without a shadow of a doubt, a premier live act. I still miss Jay very much but they work brilliantly as a trio.

I did not have the opportunity to see this performances as of yet, but, i will it priority to see them at some stage later today.

You have to watch it, pippa :) I think this is one concert all fans can enjoy for once, without criticism.

I'd have loved a few more songs as well, but, considering they had a limited time, I can understand why they chose pretty much the same playlist of hits, especially that the concert was broadcast worldwide.

I was blown away by Gary's vocals last night. I got goosebumps for the first time in a very long time. It may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I haven't heard Gary sound so good since The Ultimate Tour.

I think you're probably right, Milly. Gary sounded fantastic and his high notes were very much on point. Pray is one of my top TT songs and I loved last night's interpretation. I really liked Mark's shirt by the way:) He has a distinct sartorial style!! It must have been mighty hot in there as Gary never noticeably sweats, but last night he certainly did. As for Mark, the man must be dehydrated when he comes off stage, he sweats so much!!

It's such a shame they don't have wider worldwide appeal. They're amongst the best pop acts around, they really are. I can bet you the coverage ID get for their appearance in a couple of days will be off the scale. I use them as a comparison as they're in the same 'genre' as TT, well according to the general public. Interesting times for TT - concert in Dubai, European dates and if rumours are true, possibly gig in the US and new recordings.

I can't wait to hear new music. All of their voices sound great at the moment so hopefully that'll be picked up in new material.

I have a feeling Robbie will be involved in the new music. Would love a big tour again next year in an ideal world.

New music from such a wonderful band is always something to really look forward too.

This article suggests it's a greatest hits CD and not a reissue of III

The article I've posted states that the Greatest Hits album will be released in 2017.

I think the re-isssue of III corresponds to what Gary has been hinting at lately.

That's good then! Hopefully it'll get to double platinum finally then!!

I'm still undecided about a GH. I want new music, not a CD with songs we all have already...

Yeah, I'm not over the moon with the prospect of a greatest hits album. It would be better if they did a completely new album and sold, for free, a greatest hits album to go with it. That way, people who aren't usually TT fans would be enticed to buy it and TT fans would also be kept satisfied.

Personally I think they have got it right III re-released will help it along and Greatest Hits Vol 2 will remind everyone of their amazing songs from the previous decade. If it's a mixture of era 1/2 then again that's still great and an overall reminder. I'd say perhaps a Greatest Hits come out in 2016 and then a studio album in 2017 to mark the anniversary? Either way I think it's a good plan from them.

Plenty of artists who have been around many years have Greatest Hits Vol 2 and then Vol 3. It only marks the end if they want it too (Mark only one worried by this) but like I say it can also remind people before they head onto further studio albums.

A new Greatest Hits would be welcomed by me,great reminder of wonderful music for others to purchase too. For now, a Three re-release is the right option as the era needs more, deserves more and it is only right they push it to another level.
I think a live album from three is what's on the way as they have done this twice already and I wouldn't be disappointed with such news,,I hope they announce something very soon.
