I never received mine, from this i assume, when i do receive it will be the version that works.
I wonder how they are handling it all, once news broke did they stop shipping the orders they had, if this is the case and those people have stuck with their order and are waiting, will all these sales count the week its back on the shelves?

This is the email I got from the TT store. According to it, the dvd will be back in stock from Dec,4 :

Hello,

We are writing to you regarding your order of Take That III - 2015 Edition from the Official Store.

We were made aware of a potential playback fault with the DVD in your package which we investigated as a matter of urgency.

We want you to have the best viewing experience of the DVD possible so will be sending you a replacement DVD disc free of charge.

Your replacement DVD will be ready to send to you from Friday 4th December. You will receive notification from the Official Store when your replacement DVD has been dispatched.

Ok, well that's good then. Let's hope the damage hasn't already been done

I too would question this, did orders like these count towards the first week sale?

I imagine it all counted? But that's a very interesting point.

It's still possible to get double platinum if they get this out on Friday.

The BBC show should (depending on when it airs) add around the same as the first week to sales, so 25k ish (similar to Gary's SISYL). Then if they get another 15k a week up to Xmas, plus the steady stream into 2016 (III has sold over 100k since Jan) it could creep over the line

The album has dropped like a stone in the album charts. Can't see it recovering much now to be honest. The DVD issue has certainly affected it but aside from that, I don't think this would ever have been a major successful release given the luke warm reception to hey boy and only few extra new songs.

The cd is back in stock, with the dvd, and is currently 4 on Amazon

Must say, I'm surprised it's up to 4 on Amazon.

Maybe it'll recover after all.

Universal has got itself in a mess of cosmic proportions. They're sending 3-4 emails to the same persons, with different order numbers, they're mixing up the countries and the gender of persons...LOL, it's all turning into a comedy. As long as my dvd doesn't end up in Antarctica :P

The dvd being in top 10 on Amazon gives me hope. They boys should do some more promo till Christmas, aside from the BBC1 show.

Number 55 this week. Yes, it is a big drop, but not as sharp as we thought. I had feared a departure from the top 100.

I'm happy with that. It's sold around 5,000 then this week judging by the sales figures.
The re release added a week to their German, Netherlands and Spanish runs: Germany 5 weeks (don't know re-entry position), Netherlands 3 weeks (re-entry #72) and Spain 2 weeks (re-entry #89). We already know the re-release went to #41 in Ireland and 25 weeks on the chart.

I had just a look at the Friday Chart predictions. It is still possible to sell huge amounts of albums. Adele is no surprise, but look at Coldplay and even the Corrs. I can still not understand why so many people watch the TT tour but do not buy the album re-release and to be honest they did not really buy the album if you assume that they sold 500k by now and Coldplay sells 250k a week. I expect that Robbie will not do better on his own next year - though I still hope - and the question is why they all are watched live, but the album sales are really not that great.
I think the simple answer is not enough people have liked the music they've released lately. These Days did well but they made a major mistake releasing HB - it was dreadful. If they'd released WYBTFM and promoted it I do believe the outcome would have been more positive. As for Rob, he does a lot of promo and if he has a strong release he will do well.
Don't know how true this is but I've seen a post stating that the TT show is on BBC1 on 22nd December at 10.30pm. Unfortunately, that's not a good time slot and I doubt there will be high viewing figures.
