February 23, 201411 yr I just feel like the song doesn't really have anything to it, it's so pedestrian sounding and the chorus is totally flat. 'The Loving Kind' is like a much improved version of it. That's exactly how I feel about 'The Loving Kind'. It's basically 'Call The Shots' part 2, and it's nowhere near as good. It was also first time in their career where I felt they released a song that didn't feel fresh or unique (covers excluded).
February 23, 201411 yr :snif: For me, 'The Loving Kind' fits the bill for "pedestrian" out of all of their original singles. I like it, but it's not a very exciting listen, bar maybe the Nicola/Kimberley moment. Nicola hates the song, interestingly. :lol: Does she? well, that's disappointing. :(
