It was looking so great, but like always, everything went to shit in a few weeks.

I find it horribly hypocrite from Radio 1 to snub non-guitar driven songs considering they only B-listed 'Gentleman' and even if they did actually playlist it, they didn't actually respect the numbers of plays they should be giving a song on the B-list.

I don't think we have to worry too much for the first week, the promo will do its trick and they will get a bit more airplay once we get near the release of the week, so the song will probably chart in the lower end of the top 10 and then be out of the top 20 (maybe even 25) on the second week and God knows how little weeks they are going to pass in the top 100... With a bit of luck, it can do a 30 Days.

I don't think it's much to worry about at all tbh.

The singles chart is really fickle, gone are the days where an artist is guaranteed top 10 after top 10.

Radio 1 aren't done with them, they're just having a 'moment'. The lead single from the next album (GH or not) will be playlisted.

I do hope that Capital pick up the plays though, if they hammer it like some of the songs they do, they'll be fine!

Assuming they get good promo, such a shame I won't be near a TV to see a This Morning and Lorraine performance! ;)

I can't see their management paying out for much promo without any airplay. It's a risky waste of money promoing a song people aren't familiar with.

Capital are refusing to play this outside Marvin's evening show. It's now been 1 week since it were playlisted and has been played a total of 8 times. All either on Marvin's show or at 1AM. Sad times.

It's quite good
Totto what was going in your gif? I can't stop watching it
MEH.

Better than Don't Let Me Dance Alone though.

^ I corrected it for you ;)

Not you 2 shading those two amazing songs :(

I agree with most reviews that after 30 days the album goes downhill so do not shade that song at all!

I like it! Reminds me a bit of something Drake would record if he wanted to do something more 'pop'. I reckon it was produced by Jordan and he's the one doing the "hey" throughout the song?

Mollie sounds fierce. The pitching on Vanessa is a bit worrying, but it's okay.

At the end of the day, it could have fit on the album between 'Lease My Love' and 'Problem With Love' for example.

It's a heated argument between two women on

about "changing a man". On some point (
) Rochelle silenced them with her finger so she could speak. Very Queenish .

Lease My Love is only their best song. You were too perfect to be true  .

Sorry Tot. It's a good song but it just happens to be the least great of 'em all :)

(and I'm still perfect :smoke: )

Bigger is nice - Wildfire is still their best B side of the era.

Still no daytime plays for 'Not Giving Up' on Capital. I wonder if they'll keep it this way until release and drop it or if they'll start giving it some real airplay? If not, it'll certainly be interesting to see where the fans can get this song with nothing backing it...still doing nothing on iTunes.
