August 2, 20177 yr 'Stay My Love' had a guest feature and some decent sized promotion, I'm guessing it would have been ahead had it ever been included in New Music Friday. I'm still sad Una never made the top 100 with 'Stay My Love' considering it was top 60 on iTunes for well over 10 days. 'Back To You' has almost 600,000 in remixes though.

August 3, 20177 yr I'd love for them to have released solo material pre-streaming and see where they got to. I saw a tweet from Shady Sats facts about two weeks ago that said had Una released her album that week she'd have been top ten, it's crazy how it's all changed since they first formed.

August 7, 20177 yr It surprises me how poorly they've done with YouTube views. I would expect them to get more YouTube views than Spotify streams.

September 9, 20177 yr I honestly find it hilarious that '808' is their third current most popular song on Spotify. They currently have 1,064,579 listeners while Girls Aloud have 642,746. Queens.
September 16, 20177 yr 808 being their third most popular track is really random... I wonder who is checking for it 3 years after the GH came out? Is it included on a popular playlist? Up & All Fired Up not being within their Top 10 seems curious too! I would imagine The Saturdays generate significantly more monthly listeners than Girls Aloud mainly because of What About Us!

It really does question how the album would have performed with '808' as the lead single? I don't think it would have done much better but I'm thinking '808' maybe could have generated a better peak? It's a great shame because everytime I listen to 'What Are You Waiting For?' it deserves so much more than one week top 100, it really deserved to peak within the top ten. According to Spotify '808' is in no playlists, but yeah it's random that 'All Fired Up' is not top 10 though.

I was team WAYWF at the time but, in hindsight, I'm sure the song is/was an absolute racket to anyone who doesn't like dance music -- very polarizing. 808 would've had broader appeal and was more similar to What About Us. It probably would've fared much better.
September 22, 20177 yr Their 'Greatest Hits Megamix' has randomly climbed into their Top 10 most popular songs on Spotify!
September 24, 20177 yr I don't know if you guys prefer to talk about Youtube Strictly views here, or in the Strictly thread, but... 24hours after the live show, these were the views of each performance on the official YouTube channel. Debbie and Giovanni: 21,345 views Aston and Janette: 17,333 views Mollie and AJ: 16,331 views Alexandra and Gorka: 15,601 views Gemma and Aljaz: 14,753 views Joe and Katya: 12,485 views Davood and Nadiya: 11,278 views Ruth and Anton: 10,048 views Jonnie and Oti: 9,642 views Richard and Dianne: 9,493 views Chizzy and Pasha: 8,817 views Charlotte and Brendan: 8,720 views Susan and Kevin: 7,637 views Simon and Karen: 7,160 views Brian and Amy: 6,464 views (They all have more views at the moment at this was taken a few hours earlier, as I said) Mollie is fairly popular there, but it's weird because it's almos totally the opposite on Twitter, or worse on Facebook. So it's hard to say whether or not she has a decent fanbase.
