Really disappointed that the album has dropped out of the Top 100 this week - Was hoping that it would hang around at the bottom of the charts for a few more weeks yet  Such a great pop album and it doesn't deserve to flop this hard :drama:

It is a shame but then again they're doing pretty much nothing to help themselves. Beth Sheburn (who is supporting the sats) said she is supporting Neon Jungle on October 1st...what for is the question

I think the best thing at this stage would be to try and start beef with Little Mix.

BRILLIANT

It's probably financial support.

I just got round to listening to this, I found it pretty terrible aside from the 4 singles... but then they have 2 bonus tracks which are so much better than these album tracks?! So stupid!

I was so annoyed Future X Girl was not on the standard edition!

Future X Girl and London Rain? yeah you're right. London Rain is much better than the boring So Alive and Fool Me

Hmm shall we make a thread of the album rates?

I'm so glad someone else finds So Alive boring

'So Alive' is one of the best!! :o

I really enjoyed the album overall. I guess the only track I'm not as keen on is 'Waiting Game'.

They've removed their cover of Waiting Game off the album now!

Edited by Joe.

Removed as in removed from the tracklist?

(Good idea, then they can put 'Future X Girl' on there instead).

It's not on the iTunes or Spotify album anymore....

There's nothing left on this album that could save it (or be a hit).

They need to go for the re-release, or better still just move on completely and start again early next year.

Oops, hello 9-track album.

Tad awkward for them I bet!

They need to redefine their sound as well - as much as fans love the pick and mix nature of the album, I think they need a whole album similar to Braveheart if they want to actually sell anything to the wider public.

Tad awkward for them I bet!

It was really stupid of them to put it on there in the first place - what sort of reaction did they expect?

Serves them right, I say. :arrr:

I don't think it was stupid if the label had sought prior permissions, but if they hadn't then it was stupid for sure.

They can't be serious, surely?!

I've really came around to Neon Jungle quite late, but I've always liked them from the sidelines and thought is should let out a little rant. I think what sets them apart from the typical girl band is that they're so edgy and refreshing, and they aren't your typical girl band where each member looks like some random beauty pageant contestant, they've got this really in-your-face fierce sound going for them.

However, seeing as they are the type of act that heavily relies on commercial success - I feel everything sadly has gone downhill for them since 'Louder'. People can say they don't know who Neon Jungle are and they come across as a faceless featured artist on a dance song. But at the end of the day, their 'Trouble'/'Braveheart'/'Welcome to the Jungle' trinity is what the public wanted from them after all, and what gained them their many casual fans. I feel the second they brought 'Louder' out they lost many of these casual fans as 'Louder' makes them even more faceless and depicts them as another The Saturdays-type MOR throwaway-ballad type act - in addition to being the polar opposite of their original image with their first three singles.

I also feel that their lack of success is probably 60% because of their label that have been very hesitant to invest in them from the beginning. I think this is visible in every music video they've put out so far, the lack of radio support, the lack of live promotion. I feel like the only people really doing the work behind Neon Jungle as a project is the group themselves. I mean they had the PERFECT platform - Victoria's Secret Fashion show is huge - it's what the Spice Girls had to begin with if I recall correctly. And the label barely capitalized on that. 'Braveheart' was one of the most out-of-nowhere hits of 2014, it even took off in Australia with no promo, and they never capitalized on that either.

I see it's been mentioned but if their label were smart as it's obvious they are trying to make as much profit out of Neon Jungle as they can. They would have released the album after 'Braveheart', released WTTJ as the 3rd single and then maybe 'So Alive' or 'Bad Man' 4th AND THEN pushed a MOR-like ballad for Christmas but something of more substance like 'Sleepless in London' or 'London Rain' and NOT 'Louder'. This group really has by far the most potential of the crop of girl bands that have been popping up lately, if their label really believed in them this campaign would have faired so much better, even a re-release could have been possible imo!

At the end of the day, I think they will be dropped and that's actually for the better because their label have been their downfall. I just hope a situation similar to that of the Sugababes in their early days happens and a much better label signs them

I think the biggest mistake they made was missing the boat with the album and releasing it too late, I think the reason 'Louder' didn't do great is because all the hype by that point had evaporated. 'Welcome To The Jungle' (the single) even underperformed a bit, but still did alright and they should've released the album off the back of that.

I think in all honesty 'Braveheart' was a fluke hit, but they should just come back early year with something killer and try again.
