October 11, 20159 yr Island is such an horrendous label, all of their artists are an absolute mess (Leona Lewis, Tove Lo etc) It will be interesting to see if Island will allow Mollie to work with The Saturdays on Polydor? I don't think they'll ever bother to record again if I'm going to be honest. I think Vanessa might struggle to get a record deal but if Rochelle and Frankie wanted record deals there's a high chance they would get one.
October 11, 20159 yr Frankie would just need to say she wanted a solo deal and she would have a few labels who want her.
October 13, 20159 yr No doubt Mollie loves the other girls but I'm sure it'll be a relief for her to be able to give it her all and not be held back by constant pregnancies.

October 13, 20159 yr This comment made me smile for the first time in days   It's true though!
October 19, 20159 yr No doubt Mollie loves the other girls but I'm sure it'll be a relief for her to be able to give it her all and not be held back by constant pregnancies. I think this is my favourite thing I've ever read on Buzzjack.
October 29, 20159 yr No doubt Mollie loves the other girls but I'm sure it'll be a relief for her to be able to give it her all and not be held back by constant pregnancies. Post of the year
November 3, 20159 yr I'm so impatient about solo Mollie! I know it's probably nothing, but Popjustice (the Twitter account) responded to Mollie's announcement about her label with a simple "#Q1" could it mean we can expect something in either January, February or March? There's nothing wrong with a bit of hope, huh?
November 7, 20159 yr I would love some Q1 Mollie. Fingers crossed. In other news, here is a picture of Mollie feeding a bear cub grapes.
November 18, 20159 yr Mollie is currently working with Producer J Que Smith. Who you might ask? He’s was part of the production team ‘The Clutch’ and has written/produced songs such as Usher’s ‘Yeah!’ Britney Spear’s ‘Radar’ and ‘Freakshow’, Beyonce’s ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ and Ariana Grande ‘Baby I’
November 18, 20159 yr I can't fault her for working with a range of producers and writers but I think it is quite clear shes going for a dance sound
November 18, 20159 yr Author I can't fault her for working with a range of producers and writers but I think it is quite clear shes going for a dance sound  She'll need something like that to cover up her vocals :kink: I do hope Mollie has some form of career. her live vocals are so much better than they were, but I don't know how she'll cope singing an entire song live when at times she struggled with just one line :(
November 18, 20159 yr Struggle to sing one line is a bit of a stretch... They were times when they were all a mess but her. The nice thing about going solo and Mollie writing a lot of her stuff is that she can actually make songs that are fit for her voice. Most of The Saturdays songs weren't even made for their strongest vocalists (Vanessa and Rochelle), so let alone Mollie which would get the short end of the stick most of the time. Anyhow! That's an amazing producer to work with. Surprised she snatched them, but then she does have a major label backing.
November 19, 20159 yr Hurricane, babe, we all know Mollie is a bit limited vocally. I think you make a very valid point that she will give us better performances because the songs will be within her range, but I don't expect any powerhouse vocals or dancing without pre-recorded vocals anytime soon.
November 19, 20159 yr I've never said the opposite. Mollie's entire appeal is within her tone. It's always been the case. But how is "not getting powerhouse vocals" equals "struggle to sing a line" ?
November 19, 20159 yr If Mollie does well then it would be an easier return for The Saturdays. Radio could support them easier if Mollie has relative success and Island could offer The Saturdays a one album deal, realistically I can see The Saturdays either splitting without announcing it or releasing one final album.
