Mollie has hype because she is the most likely to produce an album that sounds like The Saturdays.

She's "overhyped" because...well, there is a reason to hype her. I mean, for Christ's sake, she's rumoured to be working with Max Martin and Vanessa is still probably letting her little sister or sum' produce her songs. It's just not the same thing.

Hurribabe, don't take it so seriously, I am kidding! x

So true! I'm so so excited to hear what she's going to put out there, especially after reading who she's worked with. I'm imagining it falling somewhere between the sats and Britney, and I'm here for it :cheer: #Queen

Mollie getting a bigger budget than The Saturdays have ever though....

I do hope that Mollie has some of her own songs on her album though. I really want to hear the song that the Backstreet Boys knocked back!

I know you are babe, but I still think it's a valid point. Based on talent alone, Vanessa should be the one to look forward to, but God, she's working with minus Z-list producers at this point, it's so boring. I mean, get Ina to write a more or less RnB track at least, or something, you know?!

Whereas Mollie truly seems to be giving everything to make up for her short comings (lack of amazing vocals, etc.) as well as putting together a decent team of producers in the hope of building some hype. I just wish Vanessa would/could do the same (I know, having a good label helps too).

Yep! Even if it came to Mollie or Una could write her an incredible track. If she wants something raunchy I am sure they can go down the root of GRGS again!

Yes. Not alienating your fanbase goes a long way.

It's pretty crazy, isn't it? But so well deserved. Had all of the girls been as devoted as she was I believe they could've accomplished so much more as a group. Like I said in another thread, I do think the other girls held her back in a sense. For Frankie, Rochelle, and Una, starting a family became the main focus and I don't think Vanessa ever really loved their music or image. Mollie's the only one who seemed totally committed from start to finish. I think this will carry over into her solo career. Her drive is admirable and like Hurricane said, her extra efforts will help to make up for any shortcomings.

Yeah, I'm anxious to see if she has any writing credits on the album and if so how many.

I would imagine she will have some songs she written, she's written or co-written some of the sats best songs

Vanessa is still probably letting her little sister or sum' produce her songs.

So you have join the f***ing Nessa Shade Squad too ?

So the rumour is, for now she has
a single-deal
, meaning the label will put up a budget for the first single - if that does well, a 360-full-on deal will be up and an album will follow. If it doesn't, everything will be scrapped and sold to other artists.

I believe Mollie has co-written a lot this past year. If that's true, then she can still salvage things a little bit if she flops by selling these songs and getting coins for her writing credits.

It does seem, however, like she wants to release an album so it will be interesting to see if she ever goes to the indie route if things doesn't end up well.

IT IS!!!

OMG I thought you meant a Toxic by Hillary Duff!!!!

Omg imagine if Britney wrote her an In The Zone P.II for her with the same producers!!

Oh lord. Let's pray this single is a proper banger and smashes it then. As much as I think Indie Mollie would slay, it would be awesome if she could put out an album with a real budget behind it
If what Hurricane says is true then they better push the hell out of the single. No half ass This Morning performance and call it a day Saturdays-type mess. She is going to need all the help she can get, especially with how female pop singers have been doing lately.

Exactly.

I really hope there is a proper campaign being thought about with, hopefully, the label thinking about *cough* paying *cough* the radios. Or hell just an amazing radio plugger, that would be great already.

Isn't Nick Jonas on Island? Maybe he an Mollie could do a duet!

oh my god! please

Okay I must admit I'm Not a massive Mollie fan but holy f*** there is so much love for her here in this reread and I am goddamn excited. Pls pls pls put out a decent pop/Dance tune though. No trash!!
Just rewatching some interviews and performances of the girls from LFTW, can't wait for Mollie's performances of her material
