Pitbull won't go top 40, Foxes is probably looking like a #31 smash at this stage. :(

This is just as overrated as Blurred Lines and Get Lucky were. I still prefer those two way much more.

If the play.com chart is anything to go by it won't be soon. Since it's still number one there! Overall it's been top there since it went to number one. Mind you it is a weird chart. It's currently got Anne Murray's You Needed Me at number 4!

Yeah, the play.com chart really isn't anything to go by :kink: Most sales come from iTunes so it's best to use that as a guide.

 

I think it could be out this week tbh, it wasn't there combined last night (was in fact at #13).

I hope to god it's out next week. The song isn't even that good in the first place!! :(

By the way "Happy" is now the song with most weeks at number 1 ever in France, with 21 weeks at the top and no sign of leaving the throne.

Though it's true that most sales do indeed come from iTunes, sales are very close to each other, so a number one on that site plus the others will push a record such as this one keeping it higher, even though the iTunes buyers are getting fed up of it.

Most buyers anyway will buy from the download site charts, they don't like to search for records. So if a record is on one of these sites top 100 you can bet it's selling better than a new record not on a top 100.

Personally I wouldn't buy anything from iTunes.

Holy crap!!! Then again, I'm not surprised since French singles chart in general is like the US charts, as there are not much movement and songs stay in the Top 20 for 15-20 weeks on average. Happy also broke record in NZ for having the most weeks at number 1 ever, with 15 weeks. I think the song will fall off the top spot there since Ariana and Iggy's Problem is far ahead on iTunes.

I think this will stay top 10 this week and next but hopefully the week Rita releases should be the week we get rid of Happy!

 

Then its a question of when it will leave the top 40......Sadly I can see it holding on until August/September
