They do! But I don't think they generally sell more than 200-500 copies a week at peak. I do remember back in 2010 that "Love The Way You Lie" had its video crack the top 50 digital chart, and his hits that year were always sticking rather higher than expected each week.

sorry yes, it's just the best 1 week sales, Frozen, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, INXS (and probably some others) have all sold more at this point

That will help Ed Sheeran, so he could remain at #1 for sometime.

 

 

 

It'll definitely help him, but unless they are adopting a different ratio of streams (the article about it wasn't 100% clear on that), Australia's streaming market isn't quite the force it is in the UK. If it is 1:100 sales:streams, his streaming will add about 3,000 sales to what he's currently doing, which would be about 27,000, which isn't much, but there's no competition at the moment. Something new could easily topple it, but it has at least another 2 weeks at the top in it I think (which makes 6, since he's #1 again on the new chart that hasn't been posted here yet :P)
