Kirk Norcross will raise funds for charity with debut single

Speaking about the single, Norcross said: "I decided to record a song because, it sounds cheesy, but I like singing. It makes me feel happy.

"At New Year, one of my goals and aspirations was to record a song, so I picked my backside off my chair, went to a studio and recorded a song and re-recorded it, re-recorded it and re-recorded it until I got it right!

"I've got what I wanted out of it, so why doesn't the money go to charity?"

The star says he knows how "difficult" ADHD can be

The 25-year-old - who has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) himself - said that he knows "how difficult it can be growing up" with the condition.

"As someone who suffers from ADHD, I know first-hand how difficult it can be growing up with the illness and how challenging it can be at times for the friends and family of sufferers," he said.

Norcross has climbed Machu Picchu in Peru as part of Sport Relief as well, with proceeds also going to the ADHD Foundation.

He will release 'Ain't No Sunshine' on March 25, and it is available to pre-order on iTunes now.
