We are playing rather well. ^_^

Why oh why couldn't we have done this a few months ago though? :( Instead of scoring goals for fun in these more or less pointless games?

Erm because we were playing the likes of Portugal (aka the teams who have already qualified and stand a good chance of winning the thing) instead of the likes of Andora (aka the teams who don't stand a chance of even qualifying).

Well tactically we've been a lot better in these two games ^_^ McClaren has made the players play more like a TEAM and looks as though he's developing different systems depending on the players available rather than just selecting the best players and trying to fit them in some way. -_- This match DOES matter but it's hardly a test that'll prove whether the McClaren era will be golden or black though. If we can play like this against a team like Portugal then I think we'll have a great chance of doing quite well if we qualify for Euro 2008. :D

Don't patronise me Paul. -_- <_<

I know we were playing harder sides then, but even our last couple of games against Greece and Andorra we have looked a lot stronger than when we played Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago.

5-0 Crouch again :cheer:

Andy Johnson, Aaron Lennon and Kieron Richardson have now come on for Stewart Downing, Phil Neville and Jermaine Defoe.

The most pleasing thing about todays result is that we could have doubled what we actually scored and we were knowere near full strenght. We were missing Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Joe Cole, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney yet we still totally out classed Andora. Alright Andora are no Italy or Brazil but still its a great result nethertheless and hopefully things are really on the up for England now. ^_^
Very pleasing match, but it didn't show class football in my opinion, if we were playing a good apposition, there would have been a few kinks in it, anyhow next game on Wednesday, should sail thru quite easily again.

I'm personally looking forward to the Brazil V Argentina match tomorrow on BBC1.

Moreso than the England match today

The game of Wednesday will be a completley different game IMO, and however easy the opposition may be the conditions will be extremly difficult for England. The players are used to playing on world class pitches but the pitch in Macedonia will be anything but that. -_- Personally i'd be happy with 1-0 victory against Macedonia as it'll be a difficult game but we have the quality to win the game though.

andorra?.... and fukkin dorra?...

they are utterly nobodies! the population of skegness is more then that farting (but beautiful) pyraneean country...

5-0 was a defeat! for us!

It's the same score just about every other major team gets against them ;) they're hardly as bad as San Marino or American Samoa

Scotland 6-0 F'Islands :cheer:   :yahoo: Yes I am happy! :D

That's very good for Scotland.

Usually Italy, France, Netherlands etc beat Faroes 5-0/6-0 but countries like Scotland only usually manage 2-0 or something, so it's an amazing start for them. ^_^
