Duke Dumont has got #1 in the bag - not only was it inevitable, but Adam has decided to release it on the sunniest and warmest Sunday for some time (well last Sunday was actually warmer but anyway..) which will no doubt add to sales. Though he should have waited until he was made a real duke before releasing it, pardon the pun!?

 

I expect Example will have a hit, and Little Mix too - don't know who the others are [/out of touch]

Duke Dumont definitely on course for a second #1, Little Mix probably end up at #2 after their performance on Sport Relief (Friday), Example around top 30 (ish), Trey Songz probably around #45 and Nicholas might just scrape a top 40 hit.

#1 - Duke Dumont, it has to be, he's way ahead on the popularity bars!

 

I'd say Little Mix will finish about #6 by the end of the week, I personally love the song but I'm not sure it'll get top 5. Could scrape #3-#4 with the Sport Relief performance though :)

I can see Example finishing about #21 or something, I think it'll run out of steam.

Answerphone..erm maybe top 40 it might scrape, we'll see. Difficult one to predict.

and Na Na, I like it, I can see it coming about #16 :D

Oh I see Little Mix are releasing a cover of the Cameo/Gun/Mel B not-been-a-hit-enough-times "Word Up" tune. I hope they don't end up following a Mel B career trajectory* after this or we may see them as huge towering giants advertising online bingo before the end of the year. :(

Well, obviously weather can affect any kind of sales (or even streaming) if it affects the sort of music people are in the mood to hear. I'm streaming some Beach Boys right now, as it happens.

I can see Example doing a Paloma Faith. If Flo Rida, Pixie Lott and Enrique can still get top 10s in 2014, then it's definitely possibly for Example to continue the 2010/11 theme.
