This was so hard for me. :drama: On the one hand, I love 'G.U.Y.' and want it to slay and slay hard. On the other hand, I feel like she's wanted 'Venus' for so long and this era isn't going to be what she wants it to be until she gets to do 'Venus'. Part of me wishes 'Venus' had just been the second single so she could have done all her cool Venus performances, done the 'Venus' video the way she wanted it, worn her big 'Venus' hair all over town. It's just clear to me that 'Venus' is so deeply part of her vision for ARTPOP that I feel weird about it not being a single, even though I think there are better choices. I always predicted her team would announce this as the third single in February, it kind of disappoints me that this didn't happen.

I don't know what I'd do if Jewels and Drugs was released as a single. It would be the worst career move gaga could ever make. Let's not even think about it...

I can't see Venus doing as well as GUY. I can see GUy doing well, especially if they promote that it's Zedd producer. GUY is a flawless song as well. I find no fault with it - it's a solid Pop song and has the potential to become a huge smash. :cheer:
i know it's G.U.Y., but i wanted Venus, so i voted Venus, Gypsy is actually my fave of the bunch but Gypsy needs to close the era as the final single :wub:
