I literally cannot handle this anymore. I'm in need of this project immediately. If today was the last day of shooting, I wonder if they'll go to a new location? Could they have really finished filming everything for this multi-part project in a matter of days?

Not the most reliable of sources but it does make lots of sense of course~

The Pop Singer's Forthcoming Music

Video Will Feature "The Real Housewives

Of Beverly Hills."

Lady Gaga is wrapping up a new music video

shoot for "G.U.Y.," her upcoming single from

ARTPOP, at the Hearst Castle, The Hollywood

Reporter has learned.

The "Do What You Want" singer is filming Feb.

13, the final day of a three-day shoot, at the

Castle's 84,000-acre main terrace.

The singer has also filmed at the Castle's

outdoor Neptune pool, where select cast of

Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

were reportedly seen Feb. 12. Although it is

unclear which housewives will accompany Gaga

in the music video, Us Weekly recently

reported that Gaga finished her previous music

video with Housewives for her song "Gypsy,"

featuring Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richard,

Kim Richard, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda

Foster, Joyce Giraud de Ohoven and

Carlton Gebbia.

Gaga will also appear in the video taking a dip

into the indoor Roman pool, which she filmed

on Feb. 11. The Associated Press had

reported that dancers and crew members were

seen carrying spray-painted plastic swans, fake

flowers and a giant-plastered seashell the same

day.

The 27-year-old performer first expressed

interest in filming at the Castle three weeks

prior to her three-day shoot. After visiting on

Feb. 3, Gaga returned a week later on Feb. 10

with a large crew and Housewives

castmembers.

Hearst Castle museum director Hoyt

Fields told THR that filming at the Castle "is a

big deal." Ever since Hearst Cooperation

granted the Castle to the state of California in

1957, the Deed of Gift mandate prohibits

commercial shooting on the estate. In

exchange for filming at the landmark, Gaga

and her parents are donating $250,000 to

promote and preserve Hearst Castle. Previous

projects filmed at the Castle include the

William H. Macy-directed Citizen Hearst and

the 1960 film Spartacus.

Board member at Hearst Castle Preservation

Foundation Remar Sutton told the San Luis

Obispo Tribune, of the "extraordinary

exposure [the project] will bring to a new

generation." He added on the singer's passion

to share Hearst Castle with her fans saying,

"She feels like she can engage young people in

art."

Gaga has also agreed to record a public service

announcement for the Hearst Castle

Preservation Foundation and a short feature on

the Castle to educate her fans about the

importance of water conservation. In addition,

she will pay the Castle's standard $22,100

special event fee and reimburse the state for all

costs in the production.

The castle is open 362 days a year. Gaga was

well aware of the frequent tours and visitors at

the Castle and kept her shoots minimal during

the day and majority in the evening hours.

The Governor of California Edmund G. Brown

Jr. wrote a personal letter Feb. 12 to the pop

singer, obtained by THR, commending her

efforts to help Hearst Castle.

"I want to personally thank you for the aide and

assistance you are providing to Hearst Castle,

the communities surrounding San Simeon and

the state as a whole. The state is experiencing

an historic drought which threatens our farms,

our communities and increases fire danger in

both urban and rural areas. I’ve called on all

Californians to conserve water in every way

possible and the assistance you are providing

will aide in that effort. I hope you have a

memorable time at San Simeon and wish you

every future success."

I reckon it's guy.

The cameras were there for G.U.Y, it was all set up.

GaGa was trollin with Venus and was just swimming listening to the album, no big deal. She listens to her music loud in cars all the time, no real difference.

I agree with Jonjo over the overreaction we had when disappointed Gypsy wasn't chosen.

G.U.Y is a viable single choice and perhaps not the career killer we assumed, but ... it's still no Gypsy.

'Gypsy' is the song that is most likely going to appeal to the general public, but 'G.U.Y.' also has its appeal, in a very different way of course. If I had to compare, it's almost like TEOG vs. 'Poker Face' sonically.

With a killer video, which is going to happen by the looks of it, and a decent radio edit - I think 'G.U.Y.' could be a hit. She could do a VIP remix of it also with a Britney feat maybe to sell it more as well. If 'G.U.Y.' is a hit, it'll leave the path open for 'Gyspy' as single 4 in June. But had 'Gypsy' been single 3, I think anything else would flop at single 4, so saving it for now could be brilliant for the era long-term wise. 'G.U.Y.' can be a hit and 'Gypsy' if both happen to become singles and are handled properly. And 2 hit singles are going to sell an album better than 1 hit single. Her new team seem to be on the ball as well, so I have plenty of faith in them to salvage the era to an extent.

All of the above is of course theoretically speaking~

Lady Gaga gets thank-you from Jerry Brown for Hearst Castle aid

http://media.sanluisobispo.com/smedia/2014/02/12/16/27/PNQRE.AuSt.76.jpeg

First California posted drought alerts on freeway

signs. Now it's turning to Lady Gaga.

The pop superstar, who wanted the iconic but

leaky pool at Hearst Castle filled for a "creative

project" she is shooting, got approval for the

shoot after she and her parents and associates

agreed to make a $250,000 donation to help

maintain and repair the castle, including

repairs at Neptune Pool, according to the

Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation.

Gaga also agreed to promote the castle and

water conservation on social media, and to

shoot a water conservation PSA.

The Hearst San Simeon State Park is part of the

California state park system, and the

arrangement caught the attention of Gov. Jerry

Brown.

"I want to personally thank you for the aid and

assistance you are providing to Hearst Castle,

the communities surrounding San Simeon and

the state as a whole," the governor said in a

letter to Lady Gaga on Wednesday. "I've called

on all Californians to conserve water in every

way possible and the assistance you are

providing will aide in that effort."

The castle foundation said the pool was filled

with water from storage facilities on the Castle

property and that the water will be returned

when filming is done.

Lady Gaga bit by animal on music video shoot: report

http://primatology.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/slowloris.jpg

Lady Gaga was given a nasty shock

while filming her new music video

when she was reportedly bitten by an

animal on the set.

The pop superstar has been filming

the promo for her latest single, G.U.Y.

(Girl Under You), at California’s Hearst

Castle and is said to have brought in

a number of exotic creatures to take

part in the filming.

The trainer on the set reportedly

provided a slow loris, a baby

kangaroo and an exotic goat, but

none of the creatures were used in

the shoot after Gaga was bitten.

The singer was nipped by the slow

loris as she handled the animal,

according to New York Post gossip column Page

Six.

A source tells the publication, “The slow loris is

the cutest creature on the planet, and Lady Gaga

wanted to use it in one scene, but it nipped her.

They put it back in its box and took it away in

disgrace.”

However, the star wasn’t badly hurt and was able

to laugh off the incident. The source adds, “She

just laughed about it. She was a good sport.”

I hope she's okay. :snif: And this is now the second reliable source to state that 'G.U.Y.' is the new single, sufficient confirmation?

Yes, it's definitely G.U.Y.!
