GaGa craziness but toned right down. Applause video was awful, Garden Panty was right, but this is what she should be doing all along, her best since Bad Romance, honestly up there with it! The song sounds arty, if not conventionally a super strong pop anthem, along with the video. it's the right length, nothing too ridiculous, radio can cut it perfectly to start after Venus, the head in the sky :lol: .

 

no Gypsy though but it also explains why we were hearin Manicure, Guy and Venus :lol:

 

World class, super stellar pop star, no pop phenomenon, performance with her best dance ever, perhaps. Incredible.

Still can't get much out of the song tho. Much preferred the artpop section at the beginning. If it would have carried on from there with do what u want and sexxx dreams it woulda been close to perfect.

i feel like the choreography is always the same as well. she seems to think that for choreography it always needs to be fast and have her jerking around like she does every other time... she should've slowed it down and made it more sensual this time instead of trying to seizure.

 

that aside - the G.U.Y section is fabulously done. really glossy, and lots going on. a decent watch.

think my big problem with her is she just tries to do too many things at once - every single time it's like everything WITH the kitchen sink: musically, artistically... she's far too eclectic with her ideas. it's obviously good to be creative, but part of being a good artist is knowing what parts to use to make a coherent and consistent vision, not use every single idea that comes in your head.
