4/10 G.U.Y. (Rami Samir Afuni Remix) - I agree with the YouTube comments, sounds like it should be in a fitness class! :lol:

4/10 G.U.Y. (Wayne G Throwback Anthem) - Very 80s, not a massive fun, but its good enough I guess

7/10 G.U.Y. (Lovelife Remix) - definitely the best remix there!

6/10 G.U.Y. (KDrew Remix) - not bad. Sounds like it would be amazing in a club, potential to be 8/9 though in the right setting.

 

Nothing amazing. I wanted something on the standard of the Purity Remix of "Applause", which I think it as good as the single version.

One of the biggest pop falls/ flops of all time.

 

I mean, not comparing to Nelly Furtado and her awful lyrics, ´Life should be happpyyy´ and flop 800 on itunes US comeback, but big.

To think that "Perfume" has (SO FAR) performed better... and the promo / campaign behind "G.U.Y" in comparison.

Shame, but they never should have even thought of releasing this as the third single...

I'm not entirely sure anything else would've done any better? It's a shame it didn't do anything but I think anything she did, with this level of radio support, was bound to flop. Shame, as it's a fantastic song.

'Gypsy' may have at least made the top 300...

It doesn't really mean anything though... anyone can release a live video and manipulate those rules with any random album track, nobody bought it and it's in no way indicative that it'd have been successful as a single.

It's the Nelly Furtado situation all over again.

 

Pop music is amde to be successful, ultimately, so if she's making pop music no one's buying and that nobody wants then why is she releasing or making pop at all? If she wants to be indie, become indie, may as well given these sales.
