As long as it isn't X-Factor winner video cheesey, some of those were diabolical!
There is no proof that one of them is a cover. Shut Up and stop whining. Bask in the glory knowing that this is not going to be another sats free year aka 2012. Stop you moaning and be happy!

Now Now, we were just joking about :D

I think this is the end of them to be honest, it has hints of their label seeing how the latest album has done and telling them this is the end of their contract.

It's a shame if so, but they had a good run and lasted longer than I expected them to. I'll probably go and see them actually!

If this is the end so what, at least they have some fantastic songs

It better not be the end of them. I would actually die. :(
I can see why people think it's the end if they interpret Frankie's line as a cover up to quell rumours but if GH does well then they'll carry on for at least another album, as has been previously noted.

I'm late to the party, I can't believe all this! I have to say, I was very opposed to a GH initially but it looks like they are actually doing it right. The track list is incredible, the promo picture is incredible (why couldn't the LFTW cover have been this good), the album will actually be out in a reasonable amount of time, and I think it could do wonders for their career. This is generating quite a bit of buzz for Not Giving Up too. My favorite part of all this is Frankie's quote about this being a milestone, not the end. I believe her and it gives me peace of mind as a Sats fan. They'd have no reason to lie about recording their fifth album later this year.

Frankie's line?

About it being a milestone, people will believe anything these days.

And agreed, the artwork does look good apart from the painted title and the dodgey photoshopping in places :)

Exciting news! It's awesome that fans can pre-order it with tickets, hopefully that will get them good sales! I really would love them to put in on pre-order on Amazon and iTunes now so people can buy it whilst they are promoting it on tv and radio in the coming week and so on. Really excited to hear the new tracks, fingers crossed they get single #1 right and get a high chart placing for the album in August when sales are a bit down and hopefully a follow up single in the run up to Christmas and boost the album sales wise as fingers crossed, people buy it as a nice Christmas present.

The artwork is lovely for it, if that's official and their back catalogue does look really strong when you see it all on the one album! Hopefully this isn't the end of them as they really have had some great moments, but I wouldn't blame them if they wanted to concentrate on being mummys or do something different, but I'll be sad if their sales have forced the hand of the label to call it quits. We'll see though, I have no reason to not believe Frankie at this stage.

Most information from insiders have been true though. We knew about the tour coming in September with the Greatest Hits in August since late January/early February. It's just that some of us didn't want to believe it.

There's no proof indeed, though. The only thing we know is that they have recorded a cover. It might not be chosen for the tracklist, but it's so much easier to go with a cover than with a brand new track so it's understandable from a label's point of view.

I do hope they scrap it and go for three new uptempos instead.

We have no reason to believe this is the end at all. If anything I think they're hoping this era will BOOST them so that they can carry on. Like I said before, if this flops, they'll have no choice but to split - but my positive mind thinks this will be good for them, and splitting is not what they're hoping to do at this point.

They've just confirmed on Capital that they are not splitting up or going on a hiatus after this album or tour.
Their record label will have the final say in whether they get to release anything else after this though.

Right, but it's pretty clear that they would have to sell virtually nothing and have zero fan base in order for that to happen. If they are allowing the girls to carry on post OYR and LFTW, I think they'll be just fine.

Couldn't agree more. I do think this will give them the boost they need and remind the public how long they've been around and how much of a force they really are.

Call me naive, but if there was any ounce of uncertainty wouldn't they hold back from saying these things? I mean, if there's a chance they'll be dropped depending on sales then I can't imagine they'd go around advertising a fifth album in fear of looking foolish.

If they aren't splitting short term they may do go hiatus after the fifth album. I don't think anyone would carry on forever and most of them have expressed intention for families etc. BUT FIFTH ALBUM! :D

P.S. Is anyone else excited and finding it hard to sleep? :P
