no pre-order.... why should it need to be in iTunes top 100, those sales wouldn't count...

I think they are going for video to be released on same day as release to collect a trickle of sales from that.... not sure if phyiscals are selling either etc... but we live in hope. lots of new big releases too next week so maybe top 75 is more realistic..

It would mean there is actually interest in the song from people other than Kylie fans who just buy it on release day then bugger off.

Yes I know that.... but still people haven't heard it... only Radio 1 playing it... so it need to be given promo on TV or something, social media on release week somehow as I would rather it go 39 - 150-187 than 80-90-75 chart run....
The only way the single is going to sell is if it is reduced to 59p on ITunes on release week, but Parlophone are greedy so probably won't.... guess they are just hoping it sells more versions of Kiss Me Once....
I Was Gonna cancel video to be premiered on 12th of May, eventhough the song is out in UK on 11th..... dear oh dear..
They should really be releasing this in late May/early June at the very earliest if they haven't got the video ready, it's only going to kill this song's 'chances' furthermore.

Think they are waiting to release video on release week or very near to it... as this way it may get sales actually during the week to get it higher charting rather than releasing it 2 weeks ago and selling 150 copies each week, sell 300 in the release week lol, but no radio play has killed it..

the video is nothing special at all... just look at the way Kylie is dressed..... jeans and a floaty top....

its not going to dent iTunes chart..... there is no single..... the EP remixes are all remixes.... the only orginal one is yet again the album version

I just watched her on Voice Italy... and it was by far her best performance of IWGC yet... brilliant. backing vocalists Lucy and Roxy where singing, 4 females dancers brilliant again and Kylie wearing latex was great vocally. and it looked live!!!

I bought the CD and I will buy the remix EP and album version but unless the album version is reduced to 59p and she gets some early promo on daytime/breakfast TV then it will be too late to wait until ALan Carr on 10pm Friday........

I hope it does well but the problem is Kylie fans are deserting her........ pity.... I don't think 99p on release week of a Kylie song is too much to ask, even if you do have the album

What I mean is, with at least 3 weeks or so for the video to be out there the album version could climb up a bit which would put it in a stronger position in its release (impact) week. Doing it this way will mean it sinks 100% completely without trace...
I have deserted this single release to an extent but have ordered my physical but thats as far as im going on this as i genuinely hate the song.

Alan Carr might boost it a fair amount.

I know Paloma is played often on R2, but she was at like #20-30 area on iTunes and then zoomed up to #14 after Alan Carr.

Paloma has had a top 10 single and a well recieved album though :P plus she was already doing well on itunes.

I don't understand Parlophone's release strategy with this single. Its ridiculous not releasing the video until the 13th. There has been virtually no promotion for the song and the remix on the physical is dire. They surely can't expect this to do well and yet they appear to be banking on this release as revitalising interest in KMO? As much as I don't like the song, this era is looking at being a complete disaster.

I think she might be on an album by album contract? Or something to that effect.

the album has not been a disaster people!!!! its still top 40 seller of the year and was only released 8 weeks ago and we are in May, I think it will stay top 100 albums of 2014 at the end of the year. It still would have been number 1 in many weeks of 2014 on release week. Look at her last singles.... all struggled..... I keep telling everyone the problem is getting the single/album version selling and the Only way to do this is do some kind of TV promo early in the week and reduce the price to 59p......... the EP and Physicals will sell fine as usual, but it is getting that single/album version into the iTunes top 100 on Sunday 11th that is the problem... that's why I want Kylie fans to get behind it and buy it from the album on 11th May.... but they don't want to so.......Alan Carr may boost sales by 1000 copies but if it has only sold 500-1000 physicals and 1000 EP remixes then that will not be enough....hopefully a few people who watch ALan Carr being filmed live on the Tuesday will buy from iTunes and give it a midweek boost. I really don't know how this is going to go.... but Alan Carr should be good for KMO, I am sure he will play Sexercise video and then live IWGC and mention the actual album too etc. so it should get a couple of thousand sales maybe in next few weeks. I am interested to see if she can bag a spot on BGT semi-finals with either IWGC but more realistically with Crytallize

KMO has sold over 200k world wide now..... even some of the hugest stars with albums out for over a year have only just got over 1m so for a 46 year old female she is doing pretty well.....if she had released KMO in December she would have got a lot more sales but she didn't

This era still has a way to go....... Crystallize will be out next.... then probably Kiss Me Once single for Tour and a re-jigged album for Winter/Xmas maybe including Sexercise vid, Will I Am duet and she could get promo slots on Strictly and Xfactor etc

Just buy one copy of 99p or maybe 59p IWGC people and celebrate Kylie still making music and videos for us.
