POOR KYLIE. Everything about this era so far has been a bit average which is a shame considering everybody knows that she's capable of some real moments.
I don't know if this has been posted or not, but Kylie's on the One Show tonight to talk about IWGC (maybe to premiere the video?)
It will definitely be her biggest flop but it was never going to do fantastic anyway, its such a weak song to release as a single.

It wont be her biggest flop..... it should beat the songs that charted in the 90's..... but I yeah not looking great....... could have performed it on The One Show but instead a 30 second clip of the video, which is very budget as I predicted...

the EP is still selling well though.... up to 40 on UK ITunes ALbum chart.... maybe 200-300 sales? the single is now 415 and 605 on ITunes singles so I would guess about the same...

I think physicals will help it chart top 75 in tomorrow's midweeks but it will drop unless more promo...

she is presenting Scott Miles Radio show o BBC1 radio 1 yes radio 1! Alan Carr on Friday should be OK promo too,

what is a lot more exciting though is this !!!! cant wait http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a57...~oE56Yh23AtOLbZ

I meant Flower charted 96, PYHU 93

anyway she still has 5 days of sales to try and save it..... she needs more promo, Alan Carr maybe too late....

at least the album should sell a few more copies and may go Silver this week?!

I still think she has a chance to save this song. but it isn't helped by zillions of Eurovision song this week.....

the problem was no price reduction of song, no single version of song (again) should have promoted Moto Blanco remix...... and lack of radio support on commercial channels. oh well........

If she's sold about 2000 physicals + 500 EPs + 500 digitals, that's 3000 sales which should safely see it into the top 75

number 95 last week sold nearly 2000 units....

Those physicals sales maybe lower as it is world wide limited edition and sold in bundles etc.... but hopefully over 1000k...

Lets hope it gets noticed more

up to 404th and 480th on UK ITunes singles chart, but needs more momentum ... and not sure it will get it.... if people keep buying the EP then the Moto Blanco remix which is the 480th will move up on the singles chart too.

there are now 6 versions to buy so hopefully small sales of each will add up

I wouldn't be surprised if we get no more singles after this, given the amount of effort they've put in here. Clearly nobody can be bothered with this project...

She'd still be flopping even without Eurovision songs above her though.

No single version is a really poor excuse, hardly any songs have one and they manage to do perfectly fine. Same goes for a price reduction.

I think these are the main reasons, as far as I can tell.

- Kylie is not the chart force she once was, she's from the same 00s era that the likes of Britney, Madonna, Christina, J-Lo are from and she's not guaranteed a big hit like in 2002

- Radio won't play her (Radio 2 doesn't matter as their listeners don't buy singles)

- Kylie can't get hit singles post album release since the last album (or even hit singles in general as we saw with 'Into The Blue'

- They rushed this single out less than 2 months after the last one with no strategy, nobody being aware of it and no music video

- It's not exactly the strongest song (although that is subjective), from a marketing point of view I can see why they went with it as Pharrell is involved and he is the biggest artist in the world right now

Basically, the public are pretty much over Kylie at the moment. The lead single flopped, this never stood a chance, they didn't even try with it and nobody really knows (or cares) that this is out.

She could still get pre-album hits I think. The whole campaign this time round has been pretty shoddy when it comes to how things have been run.

She could easily have gone top 10 with ITB if it was better thought out. I dare say she could get another top 20 with a second pre-album single (which I believe

was originally planned for this album)

'Into The Blue' would have probably scraped the top 10 if it wasn't released in the busiest week of the year so far, but it didn't have much support and I don't think there's a lot she or anyone else can do about that.
number 41 in today's midweeks...... probably droping down as we speak but still chances..... keep buying everyone
