The lyrics are really some of Gaga's most literal. I'm not sure how to feel, the verses sound awkward, but the chorus is THUNDEROUS. The bridge and the ending are also fantastic. I feel like with some tweaking on the production and maybe a re-record of the verses this could be an easy hit for Gaga. :D

I love Gypsy so so much, I was slayed and cried the first time I listened to it. :cheer: I also love Brooklyn Nights, but it took me two listens to appreciate it. Now I'm a fan of that song, but it doesn't top Gypsy for me!

To this day I just don't get the love for Gypsy. It's just TEOG-lite. Brooklyn Nights however is stunning. :heart:

Although, tbh I agree with what you're saying to some extent. But I don't think she should take a break. She just needs to ditch some of the drama and have a fresh start.

I kinda hope this isn't happening tbh. We need Gaga to have a break and actually make some good songs rather than releasing an album of ARTPOP rejects. It didn't work out too well for Justin Timberlake (with 'The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2' having been a relative flop) so I see no reason why it would work for her.

 

As much as we'd like to think that ARTPOP is just a buzz album and she's coming back with powah powah and massive #1s, it's extremely unlikely that that is the case.

tbf for all the sense gaga has she probably had an amazing album amongst the pile of tracks

I really do feel she should just scrap the entire "ARTPOP" project altogether and record new music for another theme of hers (she probably has her next 10 albums already named, planned, etc). That said, "The Fame Monster" is an album filled with The Fame rejects right? Here's hoping..
