Posted September 3, 200618 yr ROBBIE WILL BE BACK - LATER POP heart-throb Robbie Williams has good news and bad news for his Irish fans today. THE GOOD NEWS: Robbie tells the Sunday World that he intends to honour his promise to perform a FREE concert in Ireland, after admitting his June show was not his best. THE BAD NEWS: Robbie confesses that, contrary to his pledge at the end of his Croke Park concert in June, he won't be back this year and no date for the future gig has been finalised. Although he delighted screaming fans with a strong of his hits inluding Angels, Let me entertain you and Radio, Robbie admits he was'nt happy with his Croker show, during which a stunt went wrong in front of 80,000 fans. Chatting this week in London where he gave the Sunday World a sneak preview of his new album, Rudebox , due out on October 20, Robbie (32) says "I promised the Irish a free gig and I will do that. It won't happen this year like i promised." Mimicking his Croker promise he proclaims lously: "And I'll be back this year!' I did say that, did'nt I. I'm prone to very big, grand gestures. But I will go back and do a free gig. I feel as though I owe it to Ireland because the fans there have been so supportive."

September 3, 200618 yr will be tricky to do - how will they know how many people have their tickets - how will you prove you were there - will they sell the rest .... sounds like a big headache for someone :(
September 3, 200618 yr I've got mine, the only thing that worries me is, I am not Irish. I just got a horrible feeling that could be a one of the previso's even though I was at that show. I hope not though because I would be there in a flash. :yahoo: and next year would suit as well. :wub:
