It really has, when you think about where 'Can't Be Tamed' left her. I think it's still below 400k and she just seemed like she was on a downward relevance spiral back then. Similarly, can we just reflect on how irrelevant and past it OneRepublic seemed a year ago and then acknowledge that they're heading for a five million-selling radio smash of a single (in their mid-thirties, as it happens). Obviously Maroon 5 is another example. Some acts just can't be tamed be written off.
