falling away quickly now on ITunes..... again Parlophone and Kylie f*** up.... what the point in spending all that time on a video, selling notes by auction etc to sell a few thousand copies.... why not send to radio? I give up

The whole point was to raise money. The video looked cheap as f***,the notes all sold and raised alot of money which was the point. The song was just a bonus.

selling the notes made I think 12,900 euros..... I thought it was 33,000 but it since has been reduced..... that is not a lot for all the effort...... the single selling across the world is what the money should have come....... after costs taken out etc APREC should get about 37p

There's no real guarantee that the song would do any better if it were to be sent to radios though.

She is not a radio staple anymore, charity single or not.

It's done better than most people thought and a nice chunk of money has been raised, is that not good enough?

I do think the main focus of this is the whole selling notes thing, with sales of the single itself being a bonus.

Still, it's a great cause and it's raised a fair chunk of money so it's a positive thing.

well its OK, just think for Kylie to say ok we put a lot of effort into this novel idea and we raised...... 20k...... bit embarrassing..

anyway I still have hope something may happen in next few days lol... 3 songs ahead are of free grats will albumd out next week so they can't chart until the album comes out..... and sam smith has 2 versions ahead of her so 42 on iTunes is really 38th :)

and I disagree.... if the whole effort was selling notes etc then the single wouldn't have had a release date etc it would just have been released as soon as all notes sold etc..... the sales of the song where very much part of this process and probably the largest part

The consistent lack of promotion and half baked campaigns for the singles is a huge problem, and worrying of all, neither Kylie, her record company or her team are learning from previous mistakes. I am in agreeance that Kylie is not a radio staple anymore but to try and overcome that all the other elements need to be carried out better than ever. That said, Crystalize has/is doing better than i thought it would. From now on it appears that fans will have to settle for Kylie achieving top 75 hits more than big hits and to Kylie's credit she is managing to achieve top 75 and top 100 entries where many artists from her era and after are not managing.

It was never marketed as a brand new single to assault the charts with anyway, the whole point of this was to have a unique auction (bidding for individual notes)

in order to raise money. It's done that, releasing the song was just an extra add on.

Chart postions for this song are pretty irrelevant and not at the fron of Kylie's or her team's minds.

Are any of Kylie's singles on the front of her teams mind is my question? Maybe, i am completely wrong, my belief is when going to the effort of recording a charity single the effort should be put in to make as much money as possible for that named charity. I understand the sales are a bonus to the notes, but, if pushed further look how much more money can be made. I am fully understanding the single is not about Kylie trying to score a hit and gain chart placings.
aaaah I can't stop listening to it, such a beautiful and emotional song

Same here! I love it!

I love it....

the whole point was to sell it as a charity single, that was always going to make more money than buying notes........ They messed up again, could have made a lot more

No, the whole point was to have an auction with unique items (the notes from the song) to raise money.

Tut tut, if only she reduced it to 59p :( she'd be doing so much better in the charts.
