Given the BBC pays the majority of the production costs, I'd be surprised if this happened..

I would understand the fuss if it moved to Sky One or whatever but its very easy for people to press 5 on a remote instead of 1

Cause 5 is stupid and doesnt broadcast to all of the UK.

Get Freeview that has C5

Don't have freeview where I live doesnt have it :@, however i do have a sky box which nolonger has sky on it but acsesses some channels.

not all in ireland get it either, neighbours is shown on rte 1 here in ireland also so i will still see it but prefer watching on bbc as there are no breaks
I don't care what channel its on as long as we don't have to have a years break like when Home and away moved to channel 5!

Oh dear :(

I watch both Aussie soaps from time to time as far fetched as they are

H&A was damaged by the fact it went off air for a year and figures went down even furtrher when they moved it to Five - I read Neighbours gets almost treble the amount of people watching than H&A does over here - so moving it from the BBC to Five would be ridiculous though people saying they won't watch if it moves channel is a bit stupid

It won't be the same on Five but it could do really well if it moved. I mean look at Gregs Anatomy

So, you would actually stop watching one of your fave progs just because it moved to Channel 5?? It's the SAME programme, what's the diff where it gets shown....? I dont get it....

think this it only matters to those old people still stuck in 1973 (ie not me gran who watches itv3 and film4 ) that will put on bbc1 or itv1 for the whole night. that must be why?

It won't be the same on Five but it could do really well if it moved. I mean look at Gregs Anatomy
