April 17, 201412 yr Author Chart Highlights Frozen: - 10th (non consecutive) week at #1. - 11th album to log 10wks or more at #1 in Soundscan era. Pharrel Williams - G I R L: Lowest weekly sales for a #2 album in Soundscan era. Previous lowest: Foo Fighters 'Wasting Light' (34,000 - 2011.05.11). April 18, 201412 yr So "Frozen" can sell more copies in this year, than future Taylor Swift album, which would be released in the fourth quarter of 2014.
April 18, 201412 yr Author How likely is it that Halcyon will end up going Gold? If it's going to happen, it will quarter 4.
April 18, 201412 yr ^ It'll definitely happen IMO as she'll get a boost next week and the following weeks and then probably settle for a while on about 2-3,000 a week before getting boosted by the next album. But yeah it'll take a good few months.
April 18, 201412 yr Well I'm more than happy with that :P She certainly works hard enough to deserve it, but I still find it strange how easily it has outsold Lights. Hopefully album three will be bigger still.

April 18, 201412 yr The last figure I saw for Lights before it left the charts can't have been more than 250k. I could see it being 300k+ but I always found it bizarre how little the single being so massive did for it.
