I'll definitely be watching. I'd love to see Ronnie v Judd in the final!

I assume Neil Robertson's 1st round opponent is *not* the singer... :P

And Mark Selby is not playing the Guardian's former political editor.

I always enjoy the World Championship. I prefer the longer matches rather than the best-of-nine frames matches in some of the other tournaments.

No it's definitely not the singer, he's from Wallasey.

And also Michael White is a Welshman who reached the quarter-finals last year.

With Ding now gone, Ronnie must be an ever hotter favourite for his 6th title!

Definitely Ronnie will be even more of an favourite to win,

For some reason, Ding doesn't do well at the Crucible. He's only reached one semi-final.

Potential shock: 8-3 to Alan McManus against Higgins.

Potential shock: 8-3 to Alan McManus against Higgins.

Which did happen with a 10-7 win for McManus. First time he's reached the second round since 2005. The two-time semi-finalist from 1992 and 1993 now faces Ken Doherty in the next round.

He was 9-4 up and then Higgins closed to 9-7 who then missed a simple blue and McManus cleared up.

Rolling back the years are Ken and Alan.

Second Round Draw

Ronnie O'Sullivan v Joe Perry

Shaun Murphy v Marco Fu

Barry Hawkins v Ricky Walden

Mark Davis/Dominic Dale v Michael Wasley

Mark Selby v Ali Carter

Alan McManus v Ken Doherty

Judd Trump v Ryan Day

Mark Allen v Neil Robertson/Robbie Williams

What do people think of the second-round matches?

Good comeback from Ronnie to beat Joe Perry, but he does almost invariably have one session when he totally blitzes his opponents - fortunately this time it was the last session! :)

Last year's runner-up Barry Hawkins is through to the quarter-finals after beating Ricky Walden 13-11 in a re-match of last year's semi-final.

Quarter-Final Draw

O'Sullivan v Murphy/Fu

Hawkins v Dale

Selby v McManus

Trump/Day v Robertson

Neil Robertson only needs one more century to reach 100 centuries in a single season.

It's Ronnie O'Sullivan v Mark Selby in the world final.

I'm going for Ronnie to win 18-9.

Well done Mark Selby indeed. Fantastic performance from him. A real battler. From 8-3 down and 10-5 down.
